No, I would not recommend this to a friend Fun camera, auto exposure/focus needs improvement

However, the autofocus can be finicky, sometimes choosing to focus far away when I am photographing a subject up close. And the autoexposure can be unreliable, resulting in blown out or images that are almost entirely black.
