Convenient Old School AAA Battery Powered
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Already have a few rechargeable flashlights; but wanted to get one that used regular batteries for a camping trip where we wouldn’t have regular electricity to recharge and it turned out to be cloudy so solar panels weren’t working at 100% - this headlamp was a great choice. It’s not as bright as other flashlights; but decent enough. Its huge pros are that it has two ways to power on - a switch in front and another in the back, and that it’s two lights in one. Removing the main light immediately turns on the smaller lights and one can use the main light as a regular flashlight or two shine on something one might be working on. The smaller lights are angled a bit to much (or maybe it’s the shape of my head) so they tend to shine into ones eyes, especially if wearing glasses. This headlamp seems to be more for someone who needs it for work activities; but also highly recommend it for times when having a light that uses just regular batteries might be ideal since one can just pack extra batteries and not have to worry about finding an outlet or charge times. It’s also lightweight vs lithium headlamps, so it’s become my go to for everyday dog walks.
