Love the detachable battery operated front flashlight and the fact that when it is detached to auxiliary lights activate on the head strap. Brilliant. Hopefully the lithium battery lasts. As a general rule I hate most products with lithium batteries.

Great for the price

The only reason I don't rate this item with 5 stars is because it doesn't have a "spot" mode for a more focused beam, it's a really wide beam on both bright and dim settings. Probably not a big deal for most users and not a big enough deal for me to return the item. It seems like a bargain as I bought it as a Deal of the Day.

Your hands can be free when necessary & you still have lights. Or if needed you can take the larger headlamp off the base & use it as a flashlight as well. It is magnetized so you can stick it to your tool box, car etc. & work hands free. It’s great if you live or walk around in areas where snakes are because you can see very well with your police security headlamp on & have a stick or object in hand to toss snake out of the way. I’m giving 1 to my grandson because he enjoys working on his truck & this light frees up his hands to hold tools etc.
