A must buy

Buy being a Bose fan for years, I must say I would most definitely buy Polk here on out. Buy this system you will not be disappointed. Oops! Almost forgot it's a true wireless system when it comes to the surround sound speakers, BIG PLUS!!!!

Polk needs better QA

Best Buy wouldn't let me return just the glitchy speakers so I decided to just put up with the issue. Poor QA by Polk and poor customer service from Best Buy. Good sound though.

Had no trouble whatsoever connecting everything up. Love the fact that the sub-woofer and rear speakers are bluetooth with no wires except the 120V power wire. Have not experienced any popping of the rear speakers that some talked about. Connected my iPhone to the speaker with bluetooth with no problem. Also was easy to connect the speakers to my Dish remote which allows me to control volume and mute with that remote. Also connected my PS4 and DVD player. When you turn on the PS4 or DVD player the system detects this and automatically switches to that HDMI input. This is one of the main reasons I chose this system with the 3 HDMI inputs. All in all I am well pleased with the Polk Sound Bar. When you receive it you will notice just how well made it is and the quality of the product. I highly recommend this sound bar.

Won't pair after 12 months

Sub will no longer pair with sound bar so the sound is degraded. Called customer service who attempted to pair and also couldn't get it to work. Said they were sorry and did nothing to stand behind product.

Not a great buy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After a year or 2 having the sound bar we have been having trouble with the bar turning off while playing music and when lowering the volume the speaker turns off. Very frustrating especially for this price I’ve had a cheaper speaker which lasted 5 years prior to getting the Polk bar

Stay away if you want to avoid a headache

I never write reviews, but when you throw out 500$ you expect a quality product. For a year and change this thing has been nothing but temperamental. Sometimes when you turn your TV on, the sounds system will also turn on like it’s meant to. Sometimes it won’t. Sometimes when you’re in the middle of watching TV, the sound system will just shut off. Sometimes it comes back on after time, sometimes it doesn’t. I’ve tried using different ports, I’ve tried resetting the system, I’ve tried every troubleshooting suggestion they had. I can’t come up with a permanent solution and It’s annoying I wasted my money on this thing. Don’t buy it

Had a mind of its own

Polk is not what they used to be.

The Bass is insufficient and everything seemed very out of sync. There was no immersion to the sound quality at all. It was like each part of the system was doing its own thing. I'm an audiophile so when it comes to sound I will always go spend a little more money and go with the quality names in audio, which polk used to be, but clearly not anymore. Just spend the extra money and go with a higher grade Sony or Bose system. Like the Z9F system from Sony. You won't look back.

Posted .Thank you for your feedback. Perhaps the Sound Bar was not configured properly to the TV. Be sure to activate Digital Audio output from the TV. If desiring more Bass output, place the Subwoofer near a corner. HDMI ARC is the preferred connection if possible. Hope this helps.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

The audio during movies or video games leaves A LOT more to be desired. I also purchased the wireless rear speakers and it was a nightmare to get them to sync and install the updates. To this day the sound from the rear speakers barely works and constantly crackels and pops. When I bought my setup it was close to $650 and not even worth half that!

Sound is good, but not reliable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve now owned two different Polk Magnifi sound bars. This one sounds great, but they just do not last. Subwoofer constantly loses connection. Really annoying. Second, it randomly will not work until you pull the power cord and reset it. Will be purchasing a different brand of sound bar. Polk just cannot seem to make a solid system that does not fail after a year.

Garbage
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow this system is garbage Polk step your game up how the small surround speakers always disconnected for anything with a movie or music.. the bass control is hilarious IT SOUNDS THE SAME its suffocating it's not in a ported encloser I don't know why best buy don't have a negative star because this is one of them DONT BUY THIS GARBAGE I just brought it 2 days ago and returning it back
