I recommend this speaker it’s loud and easy to connect you can put it on your shoulders or anywhere book bag backpack anywhere pretty much and it’s not that big

Purchased for use on my bicycle. It has good battery life, it connects to my iPhone without issue and sounds decent enough. I'm satisfied with it.

I wish it were a little louder, but for the money it’s hard to complain.

Bought clearance. Was a bit worried when I opened the package and saw how tiny it was. Easily paired to my phone, and to my surprise, the sound quality is really good. Not too much louder than my note, but much better sound quality. I have all Polk Audio speakers at home, and this little BT Speaker did not disappoint. Another friend at work bought the same product (wasn't available from BB anymore for the same price). I got a much better price off the Best Buy Clearance.

Love how small and easy to use this device is. This clips well to different types of clothing.

This speaker is a bit louder than the iPhone 6s, but on/off, volume, song skip, phone answer, etc: all done with 2 buttons, the volume +\-. That's not terrible but does take reading/memorizing instructions.

Perfect size for clipping to the collar of your shirt or jacket to get the right sound level for you to enjoy music or have a phone conversation but not annoy others.

Out of the package, the Polk Boom Bit had an easy charging process. Pop the (rather securely fastened) top and the USB can fit in any of your charging adapters or laptop so you have flexibility on how to charge it. A red light at the base glows to show that the unit is hooked up and charging. Once it is charged completely, you have about 3+ hours of play time depending on how loudly you play it. I had to put my glasses on to read the directions, but luckily the miniature booklet was only a few pages. All the translations are found on the same page rather than separating it into different sections. Power up the Polk Boom Bit by simultaneously pressing the + and – button for 2 seconds. It will make an audio sound and a blue light in the bottom corner goes on. It will immediately and automatically look to pair with another unit, so be sure to have your device ready to receive the signal. Repeat the same process to Power off the unit. The controls are rather simple as there is only the + and – buttons. To Play or Pause, just tap both buttons simultaneously. To change the volume, tap + to make louder and tap – to turn down. To move to the next track, hold the + button for 2 seconds. To go to the previous track, press the – button for 2 seconds. If you choose to pair with your cell phone, you can receive calls through the Polk Boom and use the built-in microphone. (I paired my iPod, not my phone so I don’t have comments on this feature) The directions for that and how to do a Factory Reset are in the small booklet that accompanies the device. You can’t change playlists or choose specific music, so I encourage you to access the full list of songs in your music library. I found that you have to clip it on you a certain way if you want to work the controls with only one hand and not have to stop what you are doing. It will take practice and trying different ways to secure it to you before you gain the maneuverability, but stick with it and you will get it. The small size is a bonus as it can store it in your pocket or purse. It is also lightweight, which is a great feature. Be careful that you don’t lose it for the same reason of its diminutive size. The clip has a sure grip and the outer rubberized coating allows you to keep it clean. It is idea to clip on a shirt neckline, sleeve or sports bra. The product features say it can connect wirelessly from a distance. I tested it out and lost the sound after 10-15 feet. So clearly, you can’t leave your device at home and take this out for a jog. I thought the sound was good for what I expected. You can’t compare it to a Bose with a $200 price tag when you are only paying $30. There was no mention of being waterproof, so I would caution people when using this near water. I would think if you were jogging or mowing the lawn and it started to rain lightly you would be alright. When I was asked to review this portable speaker, the rationale on why someone would want to purchase a clip-on portable Bluetooth speaker when there are so many Bluetooth headphones options eluded me. Perhaps the ideal consumer is someone who can’t wear headphones (on a bike or motorcycle), doesn’t like to wear headphones because they are either uncomfortable or fall out/off, or they need to project music louder than their player and don’t want to be burdened carrying it. I will say that if someone had a reason why they wanted one of these or if you were looking for a $30 gift for someone who liked to listen to music and was active, I would recommend purchasing the Polk Boom Bit.

This is the perfect device for doing housework. I can leave my tablet on one end of the room and handle my tasks without missing a beat. It is great for working in the yard as well.

Its loud enough and clear. I like to the lapel clip. Its very secure. Just havent found lots of situations to use it.

Great sound and so convenient! So easy to charge too!

I bought this hoping it would work as a speakerphone in my car after my car's Bluetooth went out. Well, it didn't work so great for that purpose. It is very small and puts out a "small" and thin sound (little bass), but if you are limited to what you can carry with you, at least you'll have a decent way to listen to music while backpacking, etc. For those limited purposes I would recommend it, but if you're hoping to get volume or bass, keep looking.

Polk audio always has good sound. This little Boom is no exception. Took off one star because it couldn't pair with my Asus Zenpad 3S10.

Pros: excellent entertainment while hubby is working! Cons: charge takes 4-6 hours to only get 1-11/2 hrs of use :(

For the price, It does things well. Great for use as handsfree phone in when driving in cars without Bluetooth!
