Good sound quality with disappointing Alexa

Owned for 4 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you are part of the Apple ecosystem and use Apple Music this is not the device for you. We were very excited when Apple and Amazon finally integrated Apple Music into Alexa. This device seemed to work with Apple Music for a few months, but after some update, Alexa now states "Apple Music is not supported on this device". I've tried countless factory resets and re-pairings with our Alexa devices for multi-room music, but as soon as this device is added, multi-room music will not support Apple Music on any device. When I reset my device, the bar would not reconnect to my "Internet of Things" Wifi network again. It would connect to my other network, but it would not connect to a previously used network. I had to do a hard factory-reset on the device, at which time it immediately connected again. I don't know why it would do that, but I've replicated the issue twice. I have called Polk customer support (800-377-7655 Option 1, Option 1, Option 2) and they state their group does not support the Command Bar and forward you to another department. A recording then states that they are experiencing higher than normal call volume and that they will call you back, but after 5 hours they have not called me back, which leads me to believe they never will or the product has considerable issues. I'm now hour 2 into waiting on hold instead of having them call me back. The website for the bar is https://www.polkaudio.com/products/command-sound-bar/support and explicitly states "Features that are not currently supported include calling, drop-in, announcements, messaging, named timers and reminders, alternative wake word, custom alarm sounds and routines." These are also things we frequently use in our house, but Apple Music is not noted. Swear clear Apple Music and advanced feature users! This is not the device for you.

Would not recommend

Optical and Bluetooth worked but Bluetooth would randomly disconnect anywhere from a second to several minutes after connecting and you would have to return to settings to reconnect. So basically optical cable is your only option. Not worth it if you are paying for all the other features. I wish I read reviews first because this is definitely not an isolated incident. I had high hopes but was extremely let down.
