Decent sound but there are issues.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this soundbar for about 14 months now. Fairly early on I started to get an issue where the Echo/Alexa portion of the soundbar wouldn't work properly. It would lock up and I would have to unplug the unit & plug it back in. This happens frequently. I would not recommend it.

Alexa wouldn’t work
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I couldn’t get Alexa working on this. Returned this. I was disappointed since Polk is a good brand. Still to this day I haven’t been able to figure out why it wouldn’t register and work. My stand alone dots, lights, tv’s and cameras all work and are easy to setup

Never to see the light of day again.
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sorry Polk. I don't usually write negative reviews. But this is worthy of my time (for the sake of others) because I have wasted a tremendous amount already in trying to get this to work with Alexa. Oh, it can work with Alexa and it was in operation - for a few months. A rare reboot here and there. But... The embedded Alexa is simply not ready for prime time. I have several Echos so I do use various wake words for them. This one must use "Alexa". Points off for that alone. I won't go into all the details but this lost all Alexa capability. I tried resetting its brains from scratch but to no avail. The App is particularly useless. Not even sure why they have one. You can't reset the device from the App. Really? I'm now shy in purchasing another Alexa enabled soundbar....from anyone.

Loses WiFi Connection Ever Other Day
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound is decent and the bass is nice. Too bad the Alexa feature loses WiFi connection on a regular basis. It’s annoying to reset the Command Bar because the Polk app forgets the initial setup. If you want Alexa just get a Echo on the side.

Not an easy setup
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this system after my Bose 3 speaker system stopped working. After a few hours I returned and exchanged for a different Polk system. Did not like that it was connected to the WiFi;didnt care about using Alexa. Also, the Polk app was user friendly.

Not real Alexa
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only has voice commands but even those are limited compared to an actual Alexa Echo device. It was tricky setting up device and switching between different hdmi’s can be annoying and unresponsive. Trying to return it if we can find the receipt.

Polk Audio Soundbar
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was told that this could be used with Onkyo AV receiver. Did not work that way. Will have to purchase "passive" speakers for connectivity to AV receiver. The sound bar does sound awesome if one does not own an AV receiver.

Buyer Beware!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this and returned it the next day. Excellent concept, but HORRID execution. The smartphone app is useless; the Alexa integration suffers horribly from integration-capable Alexa skills and Echo command sets. The downward-firing sub drives decent bass into the ground, and muffles it horribly; and lastly, the speaker array on the soundbar prohibits vocal clarity when voicing commands. Avoid this product; save yourself multiple headaches. Buy a soundbar with HDMI 2.2 (4K) passthrough and HDMI ARC, then get a separate Echo or Echo Dot, and link them. You’ll be glad you did.

Buy this if you like things that don't work!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product has been a thorn in my side. I've had it replaced under warranty once and the second time was just as bad, all new problems. Alexa doesn't work. It freezes, drops out, claims she doesn't understand what I'm saying even when my other devices do. The audio drops out frequently, and just this week, my video and audio started dropping in and out. The cables have all been replaced, factory reset has been done several times. It's just junk.

Worst Sound Bar
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I thought this sound bar was going to be a great purchase. An Alexa built into it? What could go wrong! Well let us see. The volume randomly shuts off, it stops producing sound when it THINKS it hears the word "Alexa" when it definitely did not, and it has the inability to do half of what a normal Alexa does. When it started acting up I should have returned it, but I didn't because I thought I must have been using it incorrectly. After several reboots and google searches it appears I am using it fine, it just sucks as a sound bar.

Worst sound bar ever!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this as a gift for my dad. It interfered with the wireless network and made it so every TV in the house wouldn’t play the cable channels and all phones would loose wi-fi connection due to the interference. My Bose soundbar doesn’t do this. I will never purchase a Polk product ever again, CHEAPLY made and engineered products have no room in my life!!! I have set up multiple sound systems by the way, from full receiver with zones system, to simple sound bars, and never had an issue like this. The Polk app is poor quality too!

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had some difficulty with the Alexa function. If home wifi goes out it needs to be completely reset. Polk customer service is terrible and waited on hold for over an hour on more than one occasion

I was disappointed with the sound quality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would invest in a different sound bar. I didn’t like the overall sound. Maybe there’s adjustments that could be made, but for now I am disappointed with the product.
