The Polk Command Bar with Alexa was the answer to our family command/entertainment center prayers. We were able to accomplish so many things with this simple, easy system. 1. Great sound! 2. Integrates Alexa so we don't need a separate Alexa/speaker for ordering coffee and asking Google how many cups are in a liter. Not to mention music streaming. 4. Control the TV by voice w/Alexa way better that trying to find the right remote that is usually under someone's butt! 5. This did not require a professional to install. Up and running in minutes. 6. Great bang for the buck!

Ok so let's start with the bad. You have to use the Polk app to set this thing up. After about 45 minutes to 1 hour of unplugging and trying to make this thing pair. I tried my daughters iphone x and it worked in 10 minutes. All set up. It also did a update. The sound of this thing is great. I just bought a vizio 5.1 which I kept tweaking to get some decent dr. This thing out the box is great. It sounds high end. Reminds me of a sonos. This thing is in the basement. Turned up the house is bumping. Try this speaker and try to get it to work. I HIGHLY recommend it. Just bought at best buy in homewood il

I am in love with this soundbar. While I will say I've never had a soundbar before, the sound coming off of this one is spectacular. It has completely changed how we listen to our movies and TV. They sound like we are in a theater watching! This sound bar also has Alexa built in, which for our Amazon Alexa enabled home, is awesome. It doesn't yet allow for multi-room music or dropping in on other devices, but I'm hopeful they feature will be added in upgrades to the software. Overall I'm really happy with this device and can't believe we waited so long to get a soundbar.

If you have everything ready to go, this takes no longer than 20 minutes to set up. We connected it to our LED TV and was up and running in time to watch football. Super rich sound and the Alexa controls were very responsive. You can use your own TV remote, the included Polk remote, voice command, or buttons on the bar to change volume, and with various settings for voice clarity, music mode, movie mode, and sports, it's easy to change between media types. We really like how good this system sounds, and that you can turn it to "night" mode to play at lower volumes -- such as when the kids are in bed -- and not lose clarity. Be sure you have a second power outlet for the subwoofer! Would recommend this to anyone looking for high-quality sound and integrated Alexa controls.

I was looking to add Alexa to my living room and replace my Boston Acoustics xs 2.1 Digital Cinema, and I already had the Polk MagnaFi soundbar in my basement, so Polk was an easy choice. Setup was super easy, download the Polk app and it pretty much walks you through it. I was worried the sound would not be up to par with the Boston system since it had a smaller sub, but I was happy to find out that was not the case. If you can setup an Echo, you can setup this soundbar. I like the different sound modes (music/sports/movie) and the bluetooth sub connection makes placement easy. This has a wider sound and deeper center stage than the MagnaFi so it will work better for larger rooms.

Adding the Polk Command Bar to our entertainment setup in our loft has been perfect! With the open style of a loft, the bad thing is the sound can kind of fade out into the distance. But, with the Polk Command Bar, the good thing is we can now enjoy music throughout the upstairs when we want to. We have a 65-inch television so the Polk soundbar can do what it is designed to do really well. Watching movies, listening to music, telling Alexa what to do – it’s easy as ever.

Great sound quality. Adds theater-like experience. It was also easy to set up. Amazon Alexa integration is amazing!

The performance of this soundbar blew us away. It produces a very rich sound. We use it a lot to play music via Spotify. the subwoofer brings out the bass in the music. We also watch a lot of movies and The sound quality is awesome! It sounds like a surround sound system.

We wanted to upgrade our home theater sound so we began to shop it out and checked the reviews and ratings. Ultimately, we went with the Polk Command Bar. There are two HDMI ports that allow us to connect our Blu-Ray player and our gaming system, and it was super easy. The built-in Alexa on the Polk Command Bar is very versatile and allows me to voice over commands and instruct the soundbar to turn up the volume, or switch HDMI ports, turn on Netflix, and the like.  If you like the level the volume is set at, but you want more bass, no problem. If you have other smart devices - for us its our Nest theremostat - we can use the on-board Alexa to control it. 

I am very happy with the sound quality and alexa function. It was not that difficult to setup. Perfect length for my 49" tv. I don't need a echo dot with a bluetooth speaker. Pandora sounds great on this. Hopefully it will support all alexa functions in the future.

I got this soundbar during the Black Friday/cyber Monday special. For that price range it was well worth it. The sound is great for average use. Alexa is as seemless as an amazon branded product. Overall, a great soundbar for everyday use!

Life just got a lot sweeter with the Polk Command Sound Bar featuring Amazon Alexa built-in. Yes, built-in! No more searching for that lost remote. (which was the story of my life) The modern convenience of Amazon Alexa allows your voice commands to run the show. Polk Command Sound Bar has given our family a new outlook on technology. It has changed the way we interact with our TV, listen to music, and search for information. For example, it makes tasks like switching from HDMI 1 to HDMI 2 so easy with a simple voice command. Before the Polk Command Sound Bar, we had to switch one cable between 2 HDMI inputs to use our Roku or digital converter. The Polk Command Sound Bar is easy to set up and use. We are thrilled with ours.

I absolutely love this Soundbar. Not only does it sound amazing but it was so easy to set up, right out of the box. I connected the HDMI cord to my TV and it was done. Takes games and movies to a whole new level at my place. I've been without a soundbar for a while and I am very glad that I purchased this system . I'm also new to Alexa and that feature is pretty sweet as well. It works seamlessly with Spotify too which was a huge plus for me . I would highly recommend this system to anyone that's in the Soundbar market. Well worth the price !

So the makings of a great soundbar are all here. At a good price point, Alexa integration, rich bass from a small subwoofer, very clear dialog... but where the Command Bar Falls flat is on music. It sounds flat. There’s no way around it, its highs are just absent. And there’s no EQ adjustment for treble either, so you just gotta kinda deal with just how incredibly underwhelming it is in the high range. Adjusting the voice setting merely changes your midrange. Switching between music, movie and sport mode provides little real difference. Asking Alexa to increase the treble results in her flat out telling you she can’t. Disappointing to say the least. If you’re going to use this bar solely for movies/TV then you’ll be happy. Just don’t try and play music through it. The dissapointment will be swift and decisive.

Very solid performing soundbar. Voice is crisp. The midrange is a little thin but not bad. But the jewel in the equation for me is the subwoofer. Very easy to setup. Alexa works great. Nice looking unit and sub looks great. I first tried a Samsung soundbar and returned it a hour after installation and got the command bar. The sound and quality is way better. Overall just a very nice package for the money. If you looking for a soundbar in this price range. Put it on your short list.

Just recently got this soundbar to replace my old one and I am absolutely psyched about it. The surround sound is fantastic and intimate without being overpowering. The fact that it has an Echo built in is icing on the cake—I already had an Echo Dot and this synced up admirably once I set it up. This is an excellent device for anyone looking to minimize a bit by combining their home assistant with a soundbar.

Sound bars can be expensive, but they are worth the investment. They enhance you TV/movie listening experience. Throw in Alexa and that’s a whole new level of entertainment. So when you see the price of $299, you can also see that you are getting a lot for your money. this soundbar is awesome and was as close to plug and play as you can get!

We are big believers in sound bars and must have one with every TV we own. We added the Polk sound bar system to our main living room TV and LOVE everything about it. The top three things we love are 1) Alexa integration, 2) wireless subwoofer, and 3) bluetooth integration.

We're in love, what can I say? It's totally immersive and makes our movie nights better than ever. And we love the Amazon Alexa Built-In as our favorite feature. Perfect for concerts, monster movies, and binge watching TV.
