The Polk Command bar arrived in a HUGE box and I immediately worried that it wouldn't fit on our television stand. Fortunately, that was just GOOD packing and the bar fit easily below my 65" TV with the subwoofer right beside it. Set up was almost plug and play with an HDMI cord and the 2 items plugged into the wall. I don't notice a HUGE difference in sound with regular TV shows, but with sports, movies and music it is AWESOME as it has those 3 modes to choose from. Also if you do an HDMI setup you can control the volume from your regular TV or cable remote. It looks sharp and functions very well. I also LOVE the integrated Amazon Alexa as I can give it instructions or play music, etc. right fromt the bar.

Polk Command Bar Is A Game Changer. The polk command bar has changed the way our family watches movies and listens to music. Having the Alexa in the command bar is just a bonus to the amazing sound!

The Polk Command Bar took us only about ten minutes to set up. It comes in a pretty neat box too! You'll love the sleek, stylish design of the product too! It fits perfectly below our 65" television. I love that it has Amazon Alexa already built-in but it's also compatible with our Fire Stick and PS4 which is perfect. With the command bar there's no need to have an Amazon Echo or Dot in every room because the sound of the command bar is so clear. You can easily control the volume with your voice which is perfect if there's a lot of background noise which tends to happen a lot at my house. Alexa will be able to hear you easily!

I think the biggest thing that separates this sound bar from the others is that it comes with a free wireless subwoofer! You can't really beat that. I love it's sleek design, was super easy to set up and the ports on the back make hook up super simple. I love that it comes with Amazon Alexa built-in so I can control play, pause, and volume with my voice. Not to mention you can control, monitor and schedule additional home electronics using your voice. Can't beat the price either!

It was easy to set up and has a ton of features that I was looking for. Love it!

Polk Command Bar gave me the comfort of having movie theater quality at home just by using my voice!

I bought this soundbar in-store along with a couple TVs and was excited to use it as i have several Amazon Echos already and lots of smart home devices that work with it. This system was pushed very hard by the home theater "expert" working there. First thing i noticed after linking with my Amazon account is that the microphone array on the Command Bar would require that i was literally six inches from the speaker or yelling at it to even get alexa to respond. I tried a couple things like rebooting and whatnot thinking it could just be a fluke but i never could resolve that problem. The biggest issue i had was that i could not get it working AT ALL with multiple TVs, using multiple connection types including HDMI ARC, optical, and both HDMI ARC and optical together as was oddly suggested by the manual. When i finally somehow got sound to come out of the bar from my televisions it was INSANELY quiet even turned up to full volume. I ensured that my TVs were not set to variable audio and they were in fact set to fixed so that was not the issue. I went back to the store this morning and returned it and instead bought the Samsung HW-N450 and it blows the Polk Command Bar out of the water on sound, both highs and lows, and was $20 cheaper! While the Polk Command Bar is a great concept, the actual execution of the product is horrible. I wouldn't recommend this thing to my worst enemy.

1. Sound bar is easy to set up, except for Alexa. Couldn’t get Alexa to work and judging from the other comments, I am better off. I will leave it disconnected. 2. Had some issues with subwoofer (not working effectively) and volume control (difficult to increase/decrease). Called customer service. Held for almost 2 hours. Decided to send an email to customer service, as provided on the Polk web site. No answer for one week. Sent another email. Two more weeks have gone by with no response. DON’T BUY IF YOU THINK YOU MIGHT NEED CUSTOMER SERVICE OR WANT TO USE ALEXA!! 3. I would return the whole thing if it wasn’t so hard to repackage and so bulky to haul it back.

If you are looking for a smart way to bring in theater-quality sound at home without taking up too much room the Polk Command Bar is the way to go.

The worse purchase I've ever made on anything... stay away!

I bought this almost a year ago. I have had nothing but trouble with it since. First i found out the HDMI inputs don't work. Polk placed blame on my TV manufacturer (LG), but i am skeptical. Getting help from support has been a protracted nightmare. Good luck getting a person. I had to give up on the hdmi ports and it seems to work off of the optical input. But, every couple of weeks it decides to disconnect from wifi or alexa just stops working. Now, the microphone will not work at all. The button stays red and will not change. The worst part is that Polk has NO substantive FAQ on how to fix the thing. It has no reset button. Just about any maintenance or basic fixes must be performed with assistance from Polk. And, good luck getting addled of them. Do not buy this piece of garbage from this price of garbage company.

I have owned this sound bar for 8 months and overall the soundbar was good. Decent sound, easy to operate, setup was kind of a pain, but once set up worked fine until 2 weeks ago. If Best Buy would accept a return 8 months later, I'd return it. So Polk after 4 conversations about my sound bars blames Amazon for my recent change of heart in liking it. The sound bar has 3 HDMI Ports, One to go to TV, and 2 inputs. You use to be able to change the active HDMI port by voice. Well now you CAN'T. One day I unplugged my unit and when I plugged it back it, I could no longer switch the HDMI port via Voice. Then I pulled my remote out of my remote drawer, really who uses remotes anymore, especially when you are suppose to be able to change everything with your voice? And the remote didn't work, changed the batteries, nothing. Tech Support for Polk has been less than stellar, even less than crappy. I have always rated customer support to Verizon Customer Support, which has been for me, the worse I've ever encountered. Polk has made Verizon Customer Support look good. If you want to save yourself from getting a few more grey hairs, skip this soundbar, buy something else. I'd Skip Polk Audio all together, if you have something go wrong with it, they won't support you, even hang up on you, and blame everyone else, even you for the issues you are having. Good Luck with your non-Polk audio product, if you go ahead and buy this, you have been warned and can't blame anyone but yourself for buying it.

I got mine new. The Alexa feature only works some of the time. Sound is really good. Unfortunately the Alexa features are limited and unreliable. It also can’t keep track of inputs like it should. Don’t buy it. It’s not a bargain if it doesn’t work.

I spent a couple hours trying to get this system to work, it’s CRAP! Wouldn’t sync to Internet, everything else connects fine. Remote doesn’t work at all. Sound is horrible. Returning to Best Buy in the morning. Going to try a soup can and string, knowing it would be better! Don’t waste your time on this system

stopped working a few days after buying it, it worked well i heard the voices and everything but after a week everything stopped working.
