Great sound for the price. It’s a quality product that is very easy to use right out of the box. It’s not a sound system that is going to replace the cinemas. However, it still has quality sound and I am very satisfied with the product.

I have been thinking about one of these for a while. At last I found the Polk mini. Watching movies is so much better. The sound is clean and strong. Thank you Polk and Best Buy,

I will try to keep this as short and sweet as I can at first.. I am not an audiophile by any definition, but I am an obsessive enthusiast. I wanted to like this. I tried to like it. I read and watched a ton of reviews regarding this and other products. I'll just be honest here. The sound.... it is awful. -Zero sub-bass -Boomy mid-bass -Boomy upper-bass -Zero balance (equalization is impossible) -Tons of treble sibilance -Sounds like a megaphone at volume -Equalization and balance changes as you raise and lower the volume, and overall equalization is IMPOSSIBLE. -L/R channel sounds are muffled with limited range and clarity -Midrange sounds tinny and overly sharp -Nothing sounds natural I could go on and on and on.... I don't ask for much. I don't care for simulated surround effects. I don't care for features or extras. I just like clear and balanced sound. Given the drivers used in the main unit, the direction Polk went with this unit is baffling. For $300 a set of decent bookshelf speakers on stands and a stereo receiver will offer so so so much more. Klipsch even offers a set of powered bookshelf speakers that go on sale from time to time for a great price. Why buy this when you can buy better audio quality. Shop smarter and your dollar will get you so much more than this unit offers. Sound bars generally suck, especially this price point. The ONLY sound bars that I have heard that are remotely worth a dang in this price range are from Klipsch.

Good for bedroom speaker in general, with or without TV. The night mode decreases bass, but does not absolutely kill it so that you can't enjoy it. If you have Google-centric environment, even better as it has Chromecast audio built in.

    Lip-sync issues with Vizio

Couldn’t get the lips to sync up sometimes after a commercial break or channel change. It was hooked up to a 2019 Vizio M-series using HDMI ARC on tv and MagniFi. Tried other wiring combinations and internal tv switching and still had issues. I believe if it had an HDMI input jack, it may have worked better. I bought as an open-box and returned it the same. In the end, I bought a Yamaha ATS-1080 brand new from Costco and no issues. It has the HDMI input. Though it lacks a separate subwoofer, it still has excellent sound for less $$!

This sound bar sounds great for it's size, good details and balanced. Bass and voice level control and more. It can get very loud if needed with minimum distortion. the chromecast is audio only and works great.

This soundbar has a lot to offer in such a small form factor. Pros: 1. If your TV has an ARC port, kiss the optical cable goodbye! Better sound quality and your TV remote will actually control the volume. Bonus: you can actually see an onscreen indicator of your volume changes. No more guessing if it's turned up all the way. 2. This comes with all the cables you could need, aside from an Ethernet cable, should you not want to use wifi for chromecast. 3. Android users can take advantage of the chromcast feature that's built in. I couldn't get iOS to cast to it, so your results may vary. 4. Ability to turn up the voice volume. I'm sure it's just an equalizer trick, but it's neat when watching louder movies that tend to drown out the dialog. Setting it to the right tone works very well. The dialog is way better. 5. Night mode that works very well. 6. Bluetooth, so you can stream audio; plus, it sounds great. 7. Wireless Subwoofer. Just plug it in, and you're all set. It just worked from the start. 8. Small size, but a lot of audio. I was surprised just how good this sounds, compared to my Bose Cinemate soundbar. Cons: 1. For those who are wanting a wall mount solution, you can't mount this. 2. Using the Google Home app to setup wifi. I had a few issues with the app giving me an error during setup on my iPhone. Ultimately, I dug out my android tablet and that seemed to work fine. Before you ask, yes I was typing the right password, even made the password viewable, just wouldn't connect. Seemed to work fine with Android. 3. On that note, even after setup, I couldn't get any Google app to see the soundbar for casting, audio or video with my iOS device. Even the test videos and audio in the app couldn't see it, just my existing chromecast device. The android tablet couldn't see it either. Overall, it's a great soundbar for the price, and offers a lot more features than a Bose Cinemate. The voice volume feature is great, and I love the wireless subwoofer. Great for a bedroom, or a small living space to complement any TV.

It was on sale and a great purchase value. Easy to stop and looks nice too. I really enjoy the controls and the remote isn't big and very few buttons so it works well in a darkened room.

I wanted to love this little sound bar. If it worked it would be wonderful. It has a small footprint, a great sounding wireless sub, a quality build, and easy setup. It also sounds like a $30 Bluetooth speaker under a pillow. The bar itself sounds really bad to me. There are no adjustments to EQ, and really no flexibility in the bar’s overall sound. I returned and got the JBL 2.1 Deep Bass. Much, much happier.

I enjoy using the speakers for TV shows and movies. They do not work well with gaming systems. Gaming is what I bought it for, but they were worth keeping.

    Sound lag

This system has a good sound for the money, but the sound lag is bad when watching television. TV is viewed with TWC. No sound lag while watching DVD or Blu Ray, but 95 % of our viewing is TV. The longer the TV is watched the worse the lag gets. After an hour it's like watching an old Japanese Godzilla movie. Maybe it's the TV, maybe it's the cable, I don't know, but I couldn't take it. The system had to go back to the store. Sorry Polk, it could have been good.
