The Polk Magnifi Mini is a great soundbar for my bedroom setup. I needed something small that would not take up much space in my bedroom. It has great sound coming from the soundbar and it feels well built, although it is small it has some heft to it. The subwoofer is fairly light though which is ok because there is only a 6 1/2 in Speaker in there but the bass is enough for my bedroom. It comes with all the necessary components to install to your tv. I had it hooked up in about 15 minutes. One feature I do like is the Voice Adjust it allows you to raise the volume of dialogue in movies. Overall a great soundbar in a small package if that is what you are looking for I would recommend it.

To me this sound bar with the sub woofer isn’t any better than one without the sub woofer. I was told the sub woofer would eliminate the muffled sound of voices on my tv ... and it hasn’t .

Although many say this is easy to set up & works for all sorts of items - it didn't work for my 10 year old TV. I ended up returning it.

First, we would like to thank you for your purchase and for leaving us your feedback. If possible, we recommend using the HDMI ARC input for the best results. If the connected TV does not have HDMI ARC, the Polk Audio MagniFi Mini also provides optical and analog inputs. The remote was defective out of the box. The sound separation was so-so, not too bad for such a small device but no substitute for a larger soundbar. The bass response was good.

    Awful Sound Delay

There is a persistent sound delay with this soundbar, and it is terrible. Even when switching between the optical and HDMI ports, it persists. It appears to be worse with optical, but even the HDMI has a delay significant enough to be obvious... I'd say about 1/3 second delay. It is infuriating how a product like this is faulty. Now... that being said, I've only had this for a day as of writing this review. So I suppose that's on me, because *AFTER* some googling, it looks like this is not an uncommon issue. I would 100% NOT recommend this. If an obvious sound delay doesn't bother you, then sure... you do you... Also... it wasn't very intuitive to set up. Especially when trying to pair it with Google Home. I wish you could adjust the bass/voice through your phone, but that isn't an option. It would have been a better product if you had more options to control instead of just volume. If I figure out how to fix the sound delay, I *will* update this review, though it won't get more than 4 stars because of the limited Google Home use.

I purchased this to help with sound on the new lg I purchased. I wanted something with a small footprint to just give a boost to sound in a medium size living area. The tv speakers were much more clear and had better surround sound than these speakers. I took it back and will look for something else with a better sound.

    Dropped Subwoofer Pairing <6 months

I bought this soundbar based on Polk's reputation back in the day as one of the elite brands in audio. However, much like my experience with its larger cousin, their reliance on Google Home instead of developing their own app to manage connectivity is the downfall of modern Polk products. Less than six months after professional installation by the Geek Squad, the whole unit died. No combination of button pressing would revive it. After leaving both the bar and the sub unplugged all night, I attempted to set them up from scratch. The bar was instantly recognized by my TV, but the subwoofer would NOT sync, despite repeatedly pressing the "Sync" button on the back. As this is the second bad experience I've had with Polk soundbars, I feel very confident in this advice: Do not waste your money on this crap. *For any Polk sales rep who wants to chime in, claiming to be "customer service:" Google Home is not owned by Polk, nor does Google support your product. So just stop.

    muted sound bar

Got this sound bar after hearing the "demo" in the store and being impressed with the volume and quality of sound. Once I got it home and set up even when turned all the way up the sound is quite muted. To listen at a comfortable volume my TV displays the sound is at level 50. Without the sound bar my volume would be 25-30. I still don't understand how with a sound bar my sound quality is worse than the standard speakers installed in a TV.

This item worked well for about a day, but then the subwoofer wouldn't stay connected and kept shutting itself off. The soundbar and sub were only about a foot apart. I tried resetting and it never worked again. The item was returned.

Bought this item, and in two days the remote stopped working. Troubleshooted on phone, and they offered to send a new remote. This is brand new, and it should work. Disappointed and will never buy this brand again. Going to return it.
