Got this and an Alexa Dot at the same time. Hooked it up to the TV too. My wife wasn't happy with me junking up her fireplace mantle but now she says it's one of the best things we ever bought.

The Palk Audio Magnify sound bar is a fine system that has done nothing but improve the quality of the audio of my Panasonic 50" television set. I purchased it as an open box special and have had no problems of any kind. I highly recommend the Polk sound bar and taking advantage of the open box specials at Best Buy.

The sound is average and not as crisp as I was expecting. Set up is simple. The voice control is a nice feature, but there should be more range to differentiate between the master sound and voice.

In order to hear voices clearly we would need to turn volume up with our old system. It would seem like everything else would be louder but the volume with speaking still wouldn't be loud enough. Not so with the Polk sound bar. You can hear voices clearly without having the background sounds or music blasting.

It was easy to set up. My LG TV is set to send out to optical connection. Easy to program remote functions. Set the power on power off to TV on/off. Setup the volume on the cable remote. Sound is way better than the default sound of the TV.

I listened to all floor models before choosing this sound bar. Polk was not even one of my considerations before going to BB to buy. This bar provided the warmest, well rounded and balanced sound of all options in the same price range.

I purchased this product and then tried it at home for about a month. Set up was easy. Sound was good. But quiet dialog in movies was hard to hear. This was noted in a few reviews. Further there is no HDMI connector. The optical Jack is so close to the body of the sound bar it was difficult to use any optical cable than the skinny one supplied. Worse, optical cables only pass a few of the audio standards used. HDMI cables support a much broader range of audio formats. I returned this unit and acquired a Sony product. Works well and has HDMI support.

Turn these up to 11 with ease. Loud rich clarity. Polk is an amazing company. I feel these could perform above and beyond with some software updates. I listen to music on movie mode and watch movies and tv on movie mode. Simply don't use their music mode seems to ruin sound.

After hearing this unit in the store and reviews, I was sold on it but after installing at home I immediately knew this was not the unit for me. I had two issues with this unit that I could not live with which is why I decided to return it. The first issue is with the wireless sub. Regardless of where I moved it, the signal would drop occasionally. This would happen once or twice every 5 minutes or so. I figured it wasn't a big deal so I decided to use the supplied wire to bypass the wireless issue. Well, that leads me to my second issue. When I would power off the unit I would get a loud pop from the sub. Hooked up wirelessly this did not happen but using the sub output line it did. I tried moving it to a different outlet, installing another surge protector, turning the volume down or muting it before powering down but still the same thump sound. I sent polk audio an email but no response yet. For these two reasons I can not recommend and I plan to return after I finish typing this review. Maybe I just got a bad apple but who knows. I do not want to risk it again so I'm off to try the ZVOX 670. I gave it two stars btw for the looks of the unit and ease of hooking up.

This sound bar was recommended by one of the staff at Best Buy. It's a nice simple system to hook up. Excellent sound quality. I personally might like a little more bass but that's just me. I like a really rich bass. This system has a nice even tonal quality to it.

The sound on this sound bar is really great!! The remote is easy to use to adjust overall volume, voice volume, and bass. The only thing is the overall volume could have a wider range between full volume and 0.

I love polk and this sound bar just proves it. Great sound from such a small but durable package! I've got rtia12's and 10's in theater room so no stranger to what sounds good, bought this for bedroom and it rocks with great user connection it's perfect.

I bought this one it was marked down and was the same size as my previous 2 hp's . I figured that the more expensive printers failed in what seemed to be a very short period of time. So why not try something not as expensive as the other printers wont lose more money.

This is one of the best sound bar & subwoofers for the price. I reviewed a lot of sound bars and this was the best as far as ratings in my price range. It's nice that you can go to Best Buy and listen to the different sound bars they have. Polk Audio won hands down!!

There is a button to raise or lower either the voice or the background sounds like racing cars or the like. Whether you're watching an action movie, a love story, or just a talk show, that option is great to have.

It didn't do what we thought it would, as far as bringing the volume of the voice and lowering the other noise, like guns or fighting. It does have good sound, mostly.

Polk Audio - MagniFi Sounder System was just we were looking for. We listened to others and found this one as described. I would recommend visiting a Best Buy, and listening to this unit as well as others. It became obvious to us that this unit was best suited for our needs.

We purchased this soundbar after returning a Samsung soundbar that had very weak bass. We were looking for a low-end sound bar for a smaller den. The Magnifi sound bar was the best bet for our budget. Great sound, amazing bass and easy setup. Couldn't be happier!

I bought this sound bar to add to my super high definition TV system. It provides a wonderful addition to my TV system. The sound is great no matter what I'm watch or listening to. I get the full effects of surround sound. This is a great audio addition to any system.
