    It worked great when I first plugged it up. When you turn the tv off, the sound at looses signal somehow when you turn the tv back on. You can hear sound in the wireless sub. So somewhere the sound goes into the soundbar and is being sent wirelessly to the su, but there is no sound on the soundbar. You have to unplug the power and plug it back in each time to get the soundbar to come on. However when it does work, it has a great sound. I will be returning and going with a different brand due to this huge inconvenience.

    We set up on music, worked great then tried with TV, and it worked too. Then tried to switch to music nothing, then TV nothing. Tried repairing and reinstalling. Still nothing. Called geek squad and after checking, they said to return or request repair. When I returned it the associate said having to repair was common. I said that is too much work. I had spent hours on it for very little pleasure.

    Have been using wireless headphones because I have trouble understanding conversations on my big screen TV. Was looking for a fairly inexpensive sound bar to replace it. Researched several brands and when MagniFi Soundbar went on sale I thought this was a great deal. The set up was easy but I had to turn the volume really loud to hear the conversations even though it has an enhanced speech mode. I tried listening to this sound bar along with others at my local Best Buy but the way they had the displays set up was not very conducive to listening to the individual sound bars. I tested this sound bar for 12 days, watching various programs and Blue Ray DVD's and returned it on the 13 day. Have owned Polk Speakers before I was disappointed in the quality of this sound bar.

    I would not recommend you wasting your money on the piece of junk. The Bluetooth only works if I set my phone right next to the system. If I wanted that I would have went with a cheaper one. My jbl 80.00 dollar wireless speaker does Way better...

    Having trouble with sound going off and am unable to get sound as clear as needed when looking at taped programs Too much base have base turned as low as it will go This is why I bought sound bar as my old TV had speakers in back and was not clear

    I bought this item as an open box return. I know Polk audio typically puts out a decent product. All items and cables were in the box etc. I plugged it in using the fiber optic cable and followed set up to the letter. Sound was TERRIBLE, now I know why it was returned. I wasn't able to return it right away as I waited 3 weeks to set it up as I was remodeling my house but Best Buy took it back no questions asked and gave me credit to get a new system I was happy with. I spent a little more but am happy with my new Bose. Bottom line, this product was poor sound quality. Thanks for understanding Best buy!

    The sales representative recommended this sound strip. It was duifficult to do comparative listening given the poor acoustics and background of a large big box store. It sounded better than some. At honor it sounded tinny and shallow with poor range, no depth, and weak bass. I returned the item and went onto E-Bay to find the acoustimass module of my rather old system. I ended up with vastly higher performance at a much lower cost and a two year warranty. Best Buy was very professional and hassle free about accepting the return. I would definitely shop there again.

    Good sound and wanted to love it but there was a desynch between the sound and video. The audio was slightly delayed and it was most apparent when people were talking. I had to return it.

    This sound bar works intermittently. It goes off and on, on it’s own. When it’s on, the sound is very loud.,, wish I had gotten a cheaper more reliable unit

    I have dish network,and on the fast forward of dvr programing,I would get a pop on sound bar which I was told was normal,not for me returned item for Bose

    I was so excited to get my hands on the Polk MagniFi sound bar. Well, the excitement didn’t last long. The sound bar needs to be hard reset (unplugged from wall) every single time it’s turned on in order for the sound to come through the main bar. I tried connecting via Bluetooth through my smart tv, same issue. This sound bar will be returned for a replacement today. If the next one isn’t impeccable, I won’t buy Polk audio any more.

    I've had this for just over a month and it keeps shutting off every 10 minutes or so for no reason. Really frustrating!

    Keeps losing sound.

    The polk speaker system keeps losing the sound. I am constantly having to shut off speaker and turn it back on which is a pain in the neck. Apparently it does play well with DirecTV. Plus I never received an owners manual.
