Amazing sound
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Since having 2 sets of surround sound systems, I decided to go for a soundbar/subwoofer combo to put with my new 4K tv in master bedroom to try it out. After researching various different sets, I decided on the Polk Magnifi based on name brand and price point. This system did not disappoint at all. Right out of the box the sound bar and subwoofer felt high quality and looks aesthetically pleasing. The set up was done in about 5 minutes flat: 1) Unbox items 2) Plug power cord to soundbar from outlet 3) Plug power cord to subwoofer from outlet 4) Plug fiber optic cable from tv to soundbar 5) Turn on soundbar & turn on subwoofer -Done!! The sound emits immediately and wireless subwoofer will automatically synch to soundbar. I was instantly surprised at the sound quality. The highs and mids were crisp and clear coming from the soundbar, as was the rumbling lows from the subwoofer. There are separate controls on the remote for soundbar volume, voice volume, and subwoofer volumes. The sound completely filled my master bedroom just being on 1/4 volume; turning it halfway up made it movie theater quality and outstanding. I'm so impressed with this system I may change out my other two 7 speaker surround systems.

Terrible soundbar!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was set to purchase a Samsung soundbar and the salesman convinced me to buy the Polk Audio system off the floor. I don't know if it was because it was an open box, or not, but I immediately got a lot of feedback from the Subwoofer as soon as i started using it.

light weight
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The product worked great for the first few days, after that it didn't work anymore. I sound bar wouldn't respond to the remote nor the controls on the bar itself. Had to take the sound bar back, was told I would receive it back in 2 weeks its now going on a month.

A Terrible Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This might be the worst thing I ever bought at Bedt Buy. The unit turned on and off randomly, the volume level changed randomly, and it randomly switched into Bluetooth pairing mode. The included remote is cheap and tiny. This item is just not worth the trouble.

jack in back
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.unit has a connecting jack in back of sound Bar, the jack keeps popping out, we believe its an issue with the vibrations causing the jack to loosen. we would have sound for 20 min or so.

Solid Soundbar
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I matched this with a Samsung UN55KU6300FXZA TV I purchased from Best Buy as well. I needed some serious sound without having full surround in my living room. My needs were the best sound possible without having to run speaker wire everywhere and speakers which my kids would not easily damage. This Soundbar was perfect. The Soundbar looks and sounds great. The sub is much better than the Soundbar itself which was a surprise as Polk subs have been weak in my experience compared to the great sounding mids and high range speakers. Bluetooth worked great from my Android phone. Did not give this 5 stars for just a few minor reasons. 1. The Soundbar would not learn my TV remote volume via following instructions from the manual and also an official Polk YouTube magnifi video I found said it would. Luckily my Samsung TV is so new and awesome that IT controlled the Soundbar volume after using the Software "Universal Remote" feature and me selecting optical only for the tv speakers. But for those with older TVs you may not have such luck and will have to use TWO remotes. 2. Despite the MSRP, the Soundbar came with the cheapest optical cable I have ever seen. I upgraded with a $6 Amazon basics cable which was much nicer. 3. I listened to my full Polk audio RTI8/4 and CSI5 speakers, Onkyo sub and Onkyo TXSR600 receiver in my bonus room and the Soundbar is not even close in sound quality. To be fair that system was 2k when I bought it 10 years ago and obviously has a separate amp. For the price though I gave the Soundbar 4 stars as it is a solid value and way better than thin tv speakers bouncing sound off your walls and even has a nice sub.

Polk Audio
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a stand alone system. You don't get that info until you open the box. It can't be used with the system I have now.

Excellent 3.1 sound bar
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Polk products have, for years, been considered an excellent value. Their 3.1 soundbar is no exception. The only negative is the dopey remote. It's much too small and takes time to access changes in volume, base and center voice. That being said, the remote is manageable and should not be a reason to purchase another product. I've listened too many 3.1 sound bars and, if you find one better for the price of the Polk, buy it.

Sound is good but still hard to hear talking
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound was good but the reason I bought this was because I was tired of having to turn up the volume on my tv to hear people talk but then turn it down during the action. The remote it a cheap little remote would be nicer if it came with something better like a universal remote. Its also really small I could myself losing it or my dog eating it. I ended up returning this product and buying the Bose Solo 15 which I am very pleased with.

Perfect and Portable.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been looking at soundbars for weeks - listening to every one on display at both of our Best Buy locations. While not an audiophile, I could still tell the difference between poor, good and great. This bar was in the top two bars I listened to on the main floor. Its features set it apart from the others. Soundbar length, bass volume control, voice control, and the weight and size of the subwoofer were the ones that did it for me. It is compact, fitting under a TV using its stand and the wireless woofer is so light but just as powerful as the best of the competition. I am planning on getting an outdoor TV to move around this summer and this thing is going to work awesomely. My family will also use it on vacation TVs when we rent cabins, lake homes, and condos during the summers and winters. I am also going to use this as a bluetooth music speaker for the patio. Note: Optical cable or AUX input only - does not support HDMI (ARC). Even though I have a sound base that does use HDMI and ARC, I don't think that this is a problem at all.

Good and Bad...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had this sound bar for 2 months or so now and not sure if it is worth the price. Luckily I got it on sale around the holidays but certainly wouldnt pay full price for it. I own the polk 3500 soundbar for our family room and it has worked out pretty well the last few years. Thought the wireless bluetooth speaker on this would be the way to go when listening to pandora in my basement. However, the bluetooth consistently gets knocked out and the sound isn't as crisp like I thought it would be for the price of this unit. Very disappointed in that aspect. However, when just viewing sports, everyday tv, and dvd movies it works superbly and the voice adjustment is really nice. Thus, I'm just giving 3 stars for the poor bluetooth connectivity and sound. Buy with caution.

Awesome upgrade
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were looking for a soundbar to upgrade the TV speakers. After looking at several models in the store we chose the Polk magnify. The sound quality is amazing for the price and the setup was very easy. Great product if your on a budget.
