I was looking for fuller, clearer sound and was pleasantly surprised when I hooked the Polk Xt70s up to my venerable (early 80s) Pioneer receiver and equalizer. I have a bluetooth audio adapter hooked up to the receiver and use it to stream music from my phone to my system. Sounds absolutely outstanding. CDs sound great too. I highly recommend these speakers.
