Was a fantastic addition to my existing system. Can't believe I waited so long to add a great sub. Makes a huge difference in sound with games as well as movies and shows.

Purchsed this to accompany a set of bookshelf speakers that I am using on a second stereo. Sounds fantastic. Purchased for $99 during black friday weekend... Great deal.

Good speaker for a medium size room. Nice sound for the price.

This was perfect until I put The Dark Knight in, and that was a problem. It could not handle the big explosions and heavy bass hits. The sub would rattle and make a horrible sound. It just couldn't handle it. A 50w RMS sub was not powerful enough for movies. I returned it and got the PSW110, 50w more RMS and it is light years better. I would recommend spending a little extra for the PSW110.

This sub works fine with my Denon 5.1 Reciver and 46 Inch led TV . I would recommen to a friend.

Great sound in a good looking cabinet. Sound is awesome for the price, very clear and crisp, not muddy like cheap ones. Simple hook up.

Really can't say too much about this sub other then it fills my carpeted 800 sqft room with ease!

This subwoofer surprised me with the quality, and loudness that it produces, compared to the cost.

I've had this sub for a little over a year and all in all I wish I purchased something different. It sounds nice at times, but there is so much port noise at decent volumes that it gets annoying and its only turned halfway up! The speaker grille vibrates and buzzes when the sub hits sometimes too. For the money you can definitely find something better, pioneer offers a sub for 100$ cheaper and blows this out of the water, my best advice though is to save up a little more and buy a better sub fromt Klipsch. Oh by the way its paired with a pioneer vsx820k, pioneer center and front floorstanding speakers and polk surrounds, so its not because of a bad system.

This thing is good if you dont really care either way about your home theater. Im a home theater fanatic and this thing doesnt cut it for me. I have a $1500 tv and a cheap subwoofer and trust me, you get what you pay for with this. It gives good bass when you are listening to sound that is putting out apparent and loud base, like explosions and rap music and what not. But it doesnt pick up those low low tones that are often present in movies. And when it does, it is either high distorted or is flaunted with port noise. For example, when watching Iron Man. When he first comes out of the cave, like when the camera is put outside that cave with the enemies who are awaiting their doom and is just staring into that dark tunnel. In the theater you can feel the faint foot steps of Tony approaching the entrance of the tunnel. Whereas with this cheap thing all you get is loud and highly annoying port noise speaker rattle. In my own opinion, do not buy this subwoofer. Save up the extra bones and get a sub that has higher RMS wattage and is from definitive tech or klipsch. That is just my person opinion. Like I said, if you dont really give a rats butt about your home theater but just want some bass, this is the sub for you. If you a fanatic like me and will pick apart everything like i do, spend more money. I am currently setting money aside for a Definitive Tech Pro1000. Listened and felt it at best buy. Oh MY GOD awesome.

Don't let the price fool you. Great sound for a great price. Sounds way better in home than in store.

Great Powered Sub Woofer. Saw some complaints about the sound becoming distorted and booming. Make sure you adjust the volume on the back of the sub woofer and have the correct settings in the receiver for this woofer. Any woofer will get boomy and distorted if not adjusted properly. It is a 10" woofer, not a 12" or 14 "!!!! I have it in a 20 X 20 bedroom with XBOX 360 and it kicks @$$!

I have a. Polk audio surround 360 system that this is hooked up too. For what I need it for is perfect, it has the right amount of power and thump. It could be better for lower background sounds but overall a great buy! The system comes alive. Would recommend!

I read everyones reviews and started thinking "maybe mine is damaged somehow" I got this subwoofer 2 days ago and tried it out and it did not really perform too well to my tasts. It sounds good in certain spots of my room but then, in some spots its virtually silent. I use it with an Insignia reciever. First, I had to take the front off since it rattles if you turn the sub up past about.. 1/3 way. It also did not do well on low frequencies, it starts to sound like a lown mower running when you get around 35hz with no real bass (you can see this in my video, although the camera does not capture the low end bass that comes with it). I do not feel any punch to this sub either. I have a reasonable sized room, a very rough guess of about 14 X 17. I JUST WANT TO ADD THOUGH, I have nothing against Polk products! I think Polk audio make fine products. I just think this sub needs a lot more power to fit my personal tastes :D. This review would probably be geared more toward bass hungry people. lol 35hz- is about what DnB and Rap/Hip Hop use a lot. This sub might be better for country, classical, and rock etc.. Since those types of music do not really have low low basslines.

Great sub, very deep bass and I have the volume set less then half on it.

This is a new capacity of sound for us and we love the richness it offers.
