I replaced my old Polk sub-woofer with this one and was very happy. While not quite as powerful it has a smaller footprint and very good sound and certainly was a good value for the money.

Does a very decent job for being such a low end product. If you're building an entry level setup or just want to go cost effective, this does the job.

I am very pleased with the subwoofer because it is an affordable product that offers good value for its price. It expanded my listening pleasures while listening to my home theater set up and my music collection.

Awesome bass!! Got this from my wife as a Christmas gift and she did great!!! Bonus was it was on sale!! I had never used this brand of product and was a little sceptical... But it's awesome and I'm very picky!!

We had the Bose for years. This by far so much better!

I put this 100w subwoofer by my 450W klipsch and both performed great. Probably because my home theater isn't very big. So, unless you need a lot of power, try the Polk 100W and save yourself some money

I am currently using this sub on my outside patio which is open on one side. This sub is powered with my Denon receiver and the bass is incredible for the money. I have more expensive systems set up in my home and this sub does not disappoint. When watching movies with DTS you will be pleasantly surprised. My Denon receiver made the automatic adjustment to it while using the mike set up. Very satisfied.

I have a pieced together 5.1 system w/a Sony Center Channel, Polk Audio rears, mono price fronts and this Sony Sub. I'm ultimately going to get a complete system now that I know the potential of a 5.1 system. This sub fit right in. My wife doesn't like a lot of bass and I was able to tune it to where it doesn't annoy her. I don't listen to music w/them too often but they didn't miss a beat as I listen to Melodic Metal, EDM and Hip-Hop and as long as the volume isn't too high it's all quality. I'm a fanatic about hearing the full sprectrum in songs from 20Hz to 20KHz and this sub works. Con - I had to find the manual to get the correct settings.

My sub woofer for the basement failed so I needed to find a replacement. Best Buy had several models to choose from. I spoke with a knowledgeable rep who suggested this model for my use. I ordered one and set it up. I did a speaker calibration and it fit right in. Great sound. Low profile. It was a good find.

I wanted a reasonably priced speak for my big-screen TV. This is exactly what I wanted and needed for the job without having to spend a fortune to outfit the room. Highly recommended.

I was told 100w wasn't enough, this thing makes some clean sounding bass at high and low. My room is a 20x20 and you can feel the bass really strong

For the price, this sub is definitely a top-notch product. I'm not a audiophile or anything like that, but I replaced my aging 10 year old sub with this one and holy cow! It shakes everything in my house even with the dial turned only at half way in the back of the sub. Really good resonance and a nice excellent hard Punch for movies and music both. Highly recommended for the home theater set up on a budget.

Excellent sound quality. Hookup is user friendly. It's all about the BASS. Great addition to our system.

Using in my garage paired with a set of Bose 161's. Adds the bass that was needed to round out the sound. I have a Onkyo Powered Sub on my Surround sound in the Rec Room and a Samsung Powered Sub in my Office, This sub delivers more bass, the more expensive subs have more clarity and can be driven harder without distortion but at considerable more cost. If you adjust the it properly and don't overdrive it you will be very happy with this sub.

I needed a sub to go along with my Jamo 5.1 that came without one. I listened to this Polk and a Sony at Best Buy side by side and I picked this one even though they both sounded great. I watch a lot of movies and listen to a lot of music via YouTube and this sub sounds great. The bass is crisp and the thuds are punchy. I love it.

This little guy is absolutely RIDICULOUS!!! The most amazing bass packed in such a little box. I got this for my father in-law and he totally loves it. He has a super high ceiling in his home and when this Subwoofer goes off it is like thunder outside your home. It's superb sound without any rattle or weird distortion. Plain unadulterated Bass. Highly recommend.

This is my first subwoofer I have owned and I am very satisfied. I have the bookshelf Polk speakers and have been very happy with them. The subwoofer is a awesome compliment.

Very pleased with the product. Proof that you don't need to spend tons of $$ to get cinema like sound even when added to an entry level surround sound speaker set up. Its all about the sub!

This is my third one, I have two in my bedroom's 5.2 system and now one to play with two towers in my den with a denon receiver and audio technica turntable, my me time room, enough bottom end to round things out and the power to be in your face at a price that anyone can live with, it's Versatile enough to use speaker level inputs and/or run satellite speakers or use sub RCA connections, its worthwhile to check out
