Sounds great, a bit larger than I expected

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to replace a higher-end subwoofer (can't remember the brand) that an A/V system guy had sold me a part of a custom installed system during a home renovation 8 years ago. The original subwoofer's electronics failed a couple years ago, perhaps due to a power surge. It was a hassle to get repaired so I finally just bought this from Best Buy. This speaker sounds great - it brings back the low tones I've missed in action and adventure movies. It's definitely larger than the higher-end one I had so stands out a little more in my family room, but is good value for the price.

Polk Audio Subwoofer PSW- Great for my teen boy

He found Polk Audio PSW series 10", to be the perfect one for his needs. He was even able to price match it! It's a great product & he's a happy camper! Thanks Best Buy!

Good product

The instructions gives recommended options on how to set up and they worked very wrll. Specs are provided, which are needed for the receiver setup. Plenty of bass. Separate volume and phase controls on the back. This unit can act as a receiver and has the connections to power 4 other speakers. There is also a switch to enable auto on-off with external input, which is confirmed with a green-red led in back.

Absolutely incredible subwoofer!

Not only is it more crisp and powerful than my Yamaha that I have previously, but I have now made this my main sub & moved the Yamaha to my secondary sub. The price for the quality (& vise versa) is astounding. It fit my budget, my needs and my space...as well as exceeded my expectations.
