I am happy with this sub-woofer. I used the speaker level inputs which worked fine. I note that the line level inputs require 2 phono plugs; I would have had to split my line input. I like the volume control and cross-over adjustments on the sub-woofer body..

I bought this to go with the matching set of floorstanding Polk Audio speakers. I love bass and have purchased several subs in the past but nothing in a few years. This sub puts out as much sound as ones I paid five times as much for in the past. Not sure if sub technology has improved that much since my last purchase or if this one is just great, but I'm very impressed with it especially at this price point.

Got this to go with a Polk speaker package I came across over the holidays and decided to upgrade my Onkyo system. Paired this with a new 4K Onkyo receiver that also caught on sale, and they are great together. Best part, I used my rewards to get the sub for next to nothing. Thank you Best Buy!

Great sounding sub for a medium to large room or theatre.

The sub was on sale and Polk has a good rep so I bought it. While it gives decent punch, it really doesn't contribute much to the sound. For instance, if you like bass drums but not bass guitars, this sub is for you. If you want your walls to rattle from the sub and get highs from the other speakers, this sub's for you. If you want everything in between and the punch, buy something else. I have a Klipsch in the other room that I bought last black friday for the same price as this polk and it sounds great.

I was originally looking to by the Klipsch 10" sub-woofer for $349, but I was asked by a blue shirt if I would consider another brand open box. I looked at the price of $119 and said that if I didn't like it I would bring it back. So far I have been very pleased with the sound while watching action movies and regular tv programming. I know the Klipsch is probably a better sub overall, but I have no complaints about the build quality or sound quality due to the price of what I purchased. I would recommend this sub-woofer to anyone that doesn't want to break the bank and get pretty good lows for under $200.
