This sub woofer packs a punch. I feel like I'm in a movie theater. Great value

I was originally looking to by the Klipsch 10" sub-woofer for $349, but I was asked by a blue shirt if I would consider another brand open box. I looked at the price of $119 and said that if I didn't like it I would bring it back. So far I have been very pleased with the sound while watching action movies and regular tv programming. I know the Klipsch is probably a better sub overall, but I have no complaints about the build quality or sound quality due to the price of what I purchased. I would recommend this sub-woofer to anyone that doesn't want to break the bank and get pretty good lows for under $200.

The sub was on sale and Polk has a good rep so I bought it. While it gives decent punch, it really doesn't contribute much to the sound. For instance, if you like bass drums but not bass guitars, this sub is for you. If you want your walls to rattle from the sub and get highs from the other speakers, this sub's for you. If you want everything in between and the punch, buy something else. I have a Klipsch in the other room that I bought last black friday for the same price as this polk and it sounds great.

Works great. Hits lows pretty well. Definitely bargain at that price point which is consistent with poll products

Bought this sub on a recommendation and it surely didn’t disappoint. I have it in my small office and it’s more than enough to supply the low end. I’d even suggest it got a family room as it’ll provide some great color!

I purchased this subwoofer to go with my Klipsch speakers and a 5.1 surround system. It is a good subwoofer but lacked some of that deep bass punch I was looking for. It handled the volumes I pushed but I wanted something a little more. I also wanted a complete matching set. Overall it was much better than my previous Onkyo sub that came as a home theater set but was my interim sub until I found the Klipsch 10" on sale again to complete my set.

Hands down an awesome subwoofer. Hits pretty low for a 10" sub. You will not be disappointed. This is my second one. I got this one as an add on sun to my original Polk sub of the same model. I prev bough a Sony sub that was similar price range but it got drowned out by the original Polk sub so I returned it and got another one.

Plenty of bass in a relatively small package. Running with a pair of Polk XT60 to deliver the bottom end. Fills a medium sized room really well. Great bass for movies and music. You won't be dissappointed.

This sub works great. It was extremely easy to set up and the sound is great!

I love this speaker. It was the last edition to my polk audio set, and it made a great edition. I’m very happy with the sound and bass output.

You know that sound you hear coming from the theatre next door playing the action movie when your waiting for your movie to start? Well that is the sound you hear standing outside my house when the family is watching the movie in the house. Awesome!!! The neighbors are cool and jealous.

Subwoofer sounded so great, I had to buy another. I now have two subwoofers along with two B&W M1 speakers. Center channel is B&W. For my rear chanels I am using two Pollk TL1600 from the set. My receier is a Denon AV 1500. A great system with my 65 inch Sony TV. Sure makes self distancing a little more bearable.

as expected....a little hard to install b/c I didn't have the RCA cable needed so hardwired. It would be nice if they would include the RCA if it's the preferred method as the instructions says. I ordered one is was $8 so I figured they could of sprung for it in the packaging. That being said.....it sounds good.

This sub woofer has a good sound and adjustments are good as well, however; it is a bit large in comparison to others out there. I bought this to replace another wired woofer that had failed and it is a good replacement.

Sounds excellent for my taste and easy to set up in living room.

My Sub was a 1990's, Non-Powered 1st generation, I had lost the Boom. I was told i needed a Powered Sub, with these new Home Theater receivers, to get the signal that comes out of the Powered Sub Output on my Yamaha receiver. Best Buy guys were right! I got my BOOM back! This thing in really nice! The living room rumbles, the floor vibrates, I got my home Theater experience back! I Love it!

I am very pleased with this subwoofer. It has loots of power and a great sound.
