Bought as a recommendation from an Best Buy employee !! Best decision I 've made in a while. Very versatile as far as inclusion into your set up goes. I like the idle feature that allows the amp be in standby mode until an input is received. Plus, did I mention that this thing rocks? I haven't changed the gain from the OEM setting and I'm overwhelmed!!! BUY THIS!

This is a nice sub especially if your not wanting to spend a whole lot of money .

I listen the subwoofer for music (not home theater) and also own the competitive Yamaha product. The Polk PSW 108 is great addition to any surround sound system adding a fuller base dimension and complementing existing speakers. The speaker has smooth even tones and response. I don’t sense the subwoofer “kicking in” but simply supplementing the range of the system.

Love it. Use this in my home Office. This product is well-made. It is easy to utilize.

I have this set up with other Polk speakers in a room that is 13x17 feet. This sub has plenty of power for this size room. The instructions could have been a little clearer and complete. Also, one of the hard plastic feet nailed to the bottom broke early on. When I contacted Polk Audio support they wanted the serial number and pictures. For a part that costs a dime they should have just mailed it out. I just took the other three off and put on aftermarket silicone feet.

Got this sub to replace a Sony sub than had a short in the line in connector. I love this thing! Love the auto off/on feature, my Sony one didn’t have that. Has lots a bass, I usually listen to my music loud, cause I like feeling the bass haha. Polk is a really good brand too, my friend recommended this one for me.

Our old subwoofer had blown and we had been without one for our large screen TV and 5.1 surround-sound system for nearly a year. We finally purchased this one and you can't do better for your money! The bass and depth of sound is fantastic in a fairly large 20x20 room. I'm just sorry we waited so long to replace it!

I had just installed 4 ceiling speakers and 1 center wall speaker in family room and was not happy with sound when watching movies or listening to music. Decided to add PSW series sub and "wow" , it was a night and day difference in listening pleasure!

My 20 yr old Sony subwoofer finally died, but the rest of the system (speakers, etc.) still works. So, I bought this Polk subwoofer. It works perfectly with my old Sony entertainment system. It enhances the sound of my Sony speakers. Easy installation. I'm glad I purchased this one. It was recommended by the sales staff at Bestbuy.
