We purchased this 'open box' speaker for our son who is pretty particular about his sound system. He was very pleased.

Was directed toward this subwoofer by a Best Buy manager, who was a former student of mine, and am I sure glad he did! It sounds wonderful and shakes my whole house. So much so, my dog goes nuts because she thinks it's storming outside!!

Works well. Bass is clean and sounds good. Definitely worth the price paid.

I got this on sale over the holidays. It works good and I have not had any issues with it. Nice controls on the back.

This sub works very well in a smaller room (12×14). I was concerned it might be too small to make a real difference, but it totally exceeded my expectations - adding a solid bottom to a pair of towers with dual 8 inch woofers. Definitely worth the money for this one!

Shakes my upstairs floor, sounds amazing. Control knows on the back allow you to adjust bass and volume.

This sub integrates beautifully with my small Infinity LCR speakers. The MusicCast receiver runs a room analysis and sets the levels on each speaker, and the result is great balance across the audio spectrum. I'm happy with the sound for both music and movies.

In shopping for a replacement to an old sub-woofer, I was offered much more expensive units. After doing some on line research, decided to buy this Polk unit. I couldn't be more pleased! It is reasonably compact, and has a wide range of adjustments to fit my listening environment.

This totally gave me he bass I was looking for and totally changed the sound for the better! I love it!

Product came new, sealed, from store, did not have alot of punch, maybe I needed to turn it up.

I'm not audiophile enough to really distinguish between subs but its works and doesn't feel poorly constructed.

I guess I'm odd man out on the rave reviews. I liked the sound of this sub, but I had it only eight months in my home theater setup and it popped a fuse and went dead. I tried another fuse and that got me smoke and a bad electrical smell. Board is cooked. It's under warranty but I have no desire to mess around with it (you get what you pay for, and this was an inexpensive sub). I just bought a Kef sub, which I should have done in the first place (all my other speakers are Kefs). Cost was much higher but I'm sure it will last longer than eight months (I've had Kefs in my home audio and home theater systems since 1978).

Very pleased and satisfied with the performance and quality of this Polk Audio subwoofer. It completed the home audio sound system in the great room of our new home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great value in a great quality subwoofer.

Bought this along with a new Onkyo receiver. Paired perfectly with no issues. Love the active switch, so you don’t have to worry about powering it on and off. Will turn on with receiver. Great value for the price! I definitely recommend this!

One of my old old subs finally quit. I already own this sub so buying a second one was a no brainer.I love how it sounds and performs whether it's music or Dolby atmos movies it handles everything great

I got this sub to use in my man cave (aka the garage). I originally only bought the Polk tower speakers and center speaker but decided to bite the bullet and added this sub. It adds nice tight bass to movies, sports or music. You won't regret this purchase.
