Definitely a must for a theater/media room to complete a surround sound. This thing has some punch to it and shakes the room. Haven’t even messed with tuning it right now but sounds great from just getting it out of the box and plugging it in.

One of my old old subs finally quit. I already own this sub so buying a second one was a no brainer.I love how it sounds and performs whether it's music or Dolby atmos movies it handles everything great

I had a much bigger but very similar Polk I was replacing. Unit started to make some weird noises and had to go. The years and years of trouble free service led me to buy another Polk. This one does not have the dynamic range of that one but it does work well. I still have to tune my receiver for this one to get best sound but just plugging it in gave good performance. This is a budget priced unit and not earth shattering, but works well for price paid.

My son And I bought this sub for his home theater set up. Sub was easy to set up and sounds great.

I would have to say that Polk Audio produces some great sounding items at a reasonable price. I'm not an audiophile so I cant tell the difference between this and super high quality items. I just wish I would have waited a few days later when this sub was on sale for $50 less.

This kicks out some power. Great value. I have it in my basement and it sounds great

I wouldn't play this too loud given the price, but at lower volumes, it sounds great. I bought this to pair with some cheap, decades-old floor-standing speakers, and the improvement has been phenomenal.

It was a good addition to my home theater system. I already had Polk tower and back speakers connected to an Onkyo receiver. Therefore, connecting the subwoofer was easy and complemented my setup. The sub is powerful enough and the source of the sound makes all the difference. Adjusting the bass is also easy and helpful.

I guess I'm odd man out on the rave reviews. I liked the sound of this sub, but I had it only eight months in my home theater setup and it popped a fuse and went dead. I tried another fuse and that got me smoke and a bad electrical smell. Board is cooked. It's under warranty but I have no desire to mess around with it (you get what you pay for, and this was an inexpensive sub). I just bought a Kef sub, which I should have done in the first place (all my other speakers are Kefs). Cost was much higher but I'm sure it will last longer than eight months (I've had Kefs in my home audio and home theater systems since 1978).

I have the bose 3.2.1. Surround sound system and its a great system but I have never been satisfied with the bass never really felt it throughout the room until I added this subwoofer now I can control how much bass I wantand it knocks your socks off it's a very good speaker and a great addition!

Ok...my window is definitely loose but this sub rattles my window like crazy during movies. I had to tape it shut. This is a definite upgrade to my Onkyo home theater system. Add some bass to your life. Only if you have don't have neighbors below or above you.

Great subwoofer for the price. I like the black wood grain finish connection hook-up is very easy. I read a review to have someone change control nobs while you sit in your spot this is true. Makes a big difference in sound!!! Sound quality is great for movies and playing cd's

Crazy how much this thing can do! And the sound quality with the wall speakers is through the roof...no...around the block. My neighbors will hate or love me depending on if they are invited. And I haven't even gotten to more than 15db and it's too loud. Comfortable at -15db.

The convenience of having one sound controller for all my peripherals. Made my life so much better!

This was suggested by the blue guy helping me, wish I could remember his name, very helpful, I hope he is there when I go back shortly to buy a new head unit. Sound is incredible, for varied used from music, many styles to movies it tows the line and hit and solidness is on point

I made this purchase around the holidays as a treat to myself. Setup was simple and the sound was fantastic. Good deep bass and no distortion that I could notice. I would definitely recommend this product

Replacing an older model subwoofer. The staff helped out a lot to show the best item.

I wasn't sure about this product and it's sound quality with my receiver when purchasing this. Once I got it home and hooked up, WOW!!! Amazing sound and bass!!!! I am absolutely ready to spend the $$ to get the matching speakers to complete the home theater system!!!

Great forward facing subwoofer for any needed application. Will work with wired home theater setups, but chose this specific model for in-home sound system. Bass is tight and can be heard from several rooms away without being too loud at the location placement. I especially like the fact it never complains about a certain music genre and always delivers great, clean bass.
