Good deal from Best Buy around Black Friday to add this to the matching Polk T50 speakers and center speaker. As they are part of the same series they truly complement each other... this subwoofer provides the right amount of deep bass for music and movies. Enough to give my son a headache as the subwoofer sits above his room.

Nice sound. Great price. Would this product recommend to anyone.

Great value for money, add enough power to my system

I happened into a deal with this item I couldn't resist. So I bought two! I opted to hook them up in stereo with their own speaker system (B), rather then run speaker wire through them. They are buttery soft, and although they don't scratch the bottom 20 herz they still leave me very satisfied. The only thing I can nit-pick are the hard-as-a-rock little plastic bumpers the box rests on. I canned them this morning after finding some soft rubbery replacements at my local Walmart.

I have always had yamaha receivers and speakers but when I decided to upgrade I went with the polk speakers. They have great sound and the sub is enough to rattle the windows. The receiver is no where near the top of the line but has all of the features I was looking for and and at a very reasonable price. Much better than anything at that price level.

I was looking for an affordable well known brand sub, my first choice was Klipsch or a JBL or Infinity any of this for my Harman Kardon HK3390. I decided because of the low price of the PSW108 at the moment and the good reviews that I read on several places on the internet. I was not disappointed!! Don't get fooled because of the low wattage, this little friend really does the job for the music which was intended or mainly purpose, no need for the moment in buying some expensive device that will performance almost the same.

This is a good speaker for a smaller room and maybe entry level quality. It is only 100W, so does play well for the output rated power. Returned this and replaced with 12" 400W, which fit our space better.

I purchased this subwoofer as a replacement for an older sixteen year old 60 watt subwoofer. This was the only speaker that I did not replace two years ago when I updated my receiver and other speakers. I was able to purchase this subwoofer for half price during the black Friday and cyber Monday sale. Three of my other five speakers are Polk and the quality is exceptional and great value for the price. All I can say is wow when listening to movies with 100 watts rather than the older 60 watt subwoofer.Well worth the purchase.

It's been a while since I've had a full audio set-up. After getting tired of the ok quality from Bluetooth speakers, I decided to put together a full 2.1 set-up with the additional purchase of the Polk T50. The addition of the subwoofer provides greater dynamic depth to the already fantastic Polk T50's.

I bought this speaker to go with my soundbar and I have not regretted it the best speaker I've ever had for that home surround sound movie like feel the price was right and the features are wonderful having this speaker makes me want to watch more movies no need to go to the movie house now I have my own home theater very pleased.

I am coming from 25 years experience. I used to own a PSW 505 which is the 12 inch woofer sister product of this 10. The specifications on the 505 take the low to 23 Hz. That is impressive - however - unless you are watching Jurassic Park or say King Kong you don't truly need it unless you are really an over the top audiophile. The human ear can pick up 20 to 20,000 Hz so the 505 is really impressive. Bottom line it cost $275 less than 5 years ago and has burnt out. This product is sold to Amazon only. This is why you can't find it on Best Buy. I was very disappointed in the time of useful life cycle. I could barely lift it into the recycling bin. This time around I wanted something more reasonable in size but wanted quality. It's confusing as heck to see the PSW 10 and PSW 108 at price point and value. The secret is this - the 108 uses a A/B amplifier while the 10 uses a class D. The A/B runs hotter than D so I imagine that is why the 505 gave way. Perhaps 23 Hz is too much of an over reach for the hardware. At this price point we should all purchase 2 of these PSW 108 units. The bass is tight and responsive. I am more happy with this unit as compared to the 505. Only negative is that when I put my ear next to the woofer with little dialog I hear an audible low level hum. If the 505 did this I didn't notice. My hopes are this unit lasts longer because there should be less heat 10" vs 12" cone. I am considering taking off the cover to improve ventilation but I have noticed a design change here. The 505 had no front gap like this unit does. It was flush. Interesting - perhaps for heat reduction - I started my venture in home theater around 1992 when Hi Fi magazine changed it's name to Hi Fi and Home Theater review. This product may not produce the specs of the stratosphere but man ... Go get this one ... Price and value ... Words and music.

Fabulous product great for movies and video games...

This subwoofer was truly a great surprise. Being that it sits quite lower in price than it's competitors, it doesn't in its quality. The sound is very impressive, and it doesn't degrade at higher volumes like others often do. Great buy if you're looking for a sub that doesn't break the bank.
