This was the first time I had set out to purchase a home sound system for both TV and music. My initial and main use is for music, and I was definitely blown back by the power in the bass. I saw this was on sale and had to jump on it, for I had also chose to purchase some Polk Audio speakers, so I figured what better than a Polk Audio subwoofer. The bass is so powerful it rattles the entire apartment, and that's not even close to being full volume. I'm not a huge audio person, but I do like some strong bass and this delivered. Also while playing video games or watching TV, the explosions sound great. Definitely worth the price.

Good deal from Best Buy around Black Friday to add this to the matching Polk T50 speakers and center speaker. As they are part of the same series they truly complement each other... this subwoofer provides the right amount of deep bass for music and movies. Enough to give my son a headache as the subwoofer sits above his room.

Great value for money, add enough power to my system

I have always had yamaha receivers and speakers but when I decided to upgrade I went with the polk speakers. They have great sound and the sub is enough to rattle the windows. The receiver is no where near the top of the line but has all of the features I was looking for and and at a very reasonable price. Much better than anything at that price level.

I happened into a deal with this item I couldn't resist. So I bought two! I opted to hook them up in stereo with their own speaker system (B), rather then run speaker wire through them. They are buttery soft, and although they don't scratch the bottom 20 herz they still leave me very satisfied. The only thing I can nit-pick are the hard-as-a-rock little plastic bumpers the box rests on. I canned them this morning after finding some soft rubbery replacements at my local Walmart.

I was looking for an affordable well known brand sub, my first choice was Klipsch or a JBL or Infinity any of this for my Harman Kardon HK3390. I decided because of the low price of the PSW108 at the moment and the good reviews that I read on several places on the internet. I was not disappointed!! Don't get fooled because of the low wattage, this little friend really does the job for the music which was intended or mainly purpose, no need for the moment in buying some expensive device that will performance almost the same.

This is the second Polk subwoofer I've purchased from Best Buy over the last several years, and they've both delivered the right kind of punch my surround sound needed.

I purchased this subwoofer as a replacement for an older sixteen year old 60 watt subwoofer. This was the only speaker that I did not replace two years ago when I updated my receiver and other speakers. I was able to purchase this subwoofer for half price during the black Friday and cyber Monday sale. Three of my other five speakers are Polk and the quality is exceptional and great value for the price. All I can say is wow when listening to movies with 100 watts rather than the older 60 watt subwoofer.Well worth the purchase.

Love the depth of the bass it produces. Great sound that is not distorted even when rocking out to loud music!

It's been a while since I've had a full audio set-up. After getting tired of the ok quality from Bluetooth speakers, I decided to put together a full 2.1 set-up with the additional purchase of the Polk T50. The addition of the subwoofer provides greater dynamic depth to the already fantastic Polk T50's.

I bought this speaker to go with my soundbar and I have not regretted it the best speaker I've ever had for that home surround sound movie like feel the price was right and the features are wonderful having this speaker makes me want to watch more movies no need to go to the movie house now I have my own home theater very pleased.

This is a good speaker for a smaller room and maybe entry level quality. It is only 100W, so does play well for the output rated power. Returned this and replaced with 12" 400W, which fit our space better.

Great sound for a small room. Excellent value as well.

Great subwoofer, has awesome sound and bass output

This subwoofer was truly a great surprise. Being that it sits quite lower in price than it's competitors, it doesn't in its quality. The sound is very impressive, and it doesn't degrade at higher volumes like others often do. Great buy if you're looking for a sub that doesn't break the bank.

Easy setup. Sounds great with my Pioneer receiver.
