polk sound bar like to be off

The main complaint is that the sound bar turns off automatically all the time so you have to keep turning it back on to use it. When the sound pauses it turns off and you have to turn it back on.

Unintended side effects

It was a gift for my dad. He likes it, but he figured out how to stream baseball games through it and hes loosing his hearing so he always has it turned up real loud and its annoying my mom.

We’ve bought 2 of them but with this second one we’ve had issues with the way it connects. It sounds like it’s loosing connection between the sound bar and the subwoofer. Tried using it with and without the HDMI wire and it still did it. We were able to fix it and it’s been good so far.
