The sound bar will also shut off automatically if you pause what you're watching for a few minutes. Does have good sound and bass for the price.

Not worth the Headache

Once I get a new sounds bar this one is going in the trash. The audio quality from 1-10 would be a 6. The audio quality really isn't the big problem. The issue is this stupid thing turns off every 15 minutes. I've only been able to get that feature to turn off once. As soon as we have a power outage I struggle getting it to stay on after 15 minutes of no activities. Also, the audio settings for me are in increments of 3. So if i try to turn the volume up from 16 it goes from 16-19.

Posted .Thank you for your review. The Signa S2 has some fine features on board, including the power saving mode - which you highlight. The reason we implemented this feature - and it's not always initially identifiable - is because when a unit of this type is not delivering a feed for more than ten minutes, it is fair to say it probably doesn't need to be on any more. Rather than have your utility bill be higher than it needs to be, we made it so this unit would have a power-saving mode which works automatically.

But the spouse choose this. Frustrating is the amount of time it take for the sound to come on one it finally comes on! Then pause what you are watching and it turns off in a few minutes. Volume control is hard to get just right.

Posted .This does sound frustrating. One possible fix, If the sound bar is connected to the TV via HDMI ARC, go into the TV settings and turn on the HDMI control. I hope this helps.
