Customers are saying

Customers highly value the Signa S2's sound quality, bass, and ease of use, frequently praising its impressive audio performance and user-friendly features. Many also appreciate the soundbar's compact size and affordable price point. While some users suggest improvements to the remote control and the lack of a display, the positive feedback on the sound and ease of setup outweighs these minor drawbacks. The Bluetooth connectivity is also a frequently cited advantage.

After crunching the remote for the old sound bar in the couch I was in the market for a new one. Read through all the previous reviews and I would say they are accurate. Easy set up and easy to use this sound bar packs a punch, but yet also has great quality for those faint conversations in movies / tv programs. Best Buy had the best price for this item. Worth the $$$ spent.

    Merry Christmas To Me

Bought this sound bar as a Christmas gift to myself this year. I added it to the TV that usually watch sports with. It is 100x better than the TV sound. There are probably better sounding bars out there, but I wanted one with a smaller subwoofer to install on my bar. It was also very easy to mount under the TV with two screws.

Decided to clean up the old surround sound system. Had speakers, receiver, wires everywhere it seemed. The wife never really wanted all that theater sounding rumble, so this little system cleaned things up in the entertainment center. Our family room isn't too big so the little wireless sub and sound bar work adequately for our setup.

My parents have always wanted better sound but mom wouldn’t get for the wired systems of old. I brought up sound bars to them and while my dad still wanted it, mom was learywabkjt adding more cables etc. I went and bought for them as a gift so they really didn’t have a say! Lol! It was simple for me to set up and I got it to work w their Xfinity remote. Sounds great and my folks are stoked!

I have a 55 inch tv this soundbar fits well under. I have a 5.1 system for movies, but wanted a little better sound out of the tv for tv only watching. I can't comment on the sub woofer yet as i haven't hooked it up for the tv ( I have a 10 inch sub for movies). The sound is clear. The volume is plentiful. I have a 15 year old Polk speaker set up, so the Polk choice is based on experience. very happy with the purchase.

    Sound Great For The Mancave

Purchased this after having visited the store but it was out of stock. I ordered it online and got it a few days later. Super easy to setup, took less than 2 mins literally. Easy to plug up due to cables only fit one area so anyone could plug it in. Quality of the audio is excellent and fills up my room with ease. The mancave spans the length of a 2.5 car garage and sounds good no matter what side of the room we are in.

Great sound. I needed to get a soundbar with a subwoofer. I looked at some online and was about to buy a different one based on the specs. But I went to Best Buy first to listen to the sound quality of all the ones they had there. This was one of the best sounding ones for a smaller budget. Very pleased with it. Would be better if it had some video streaming service built-in.

As a long time 7 channel fan, I’m impressed with his sound bar’s sound quality, especially for the cost. Can’t imagine ones that cost 5 times more could be 5 times better, but maybe. Set up is basically plug and play, I used optical input. My TiVo remote picked up the controls effortlessly. Very good option for Bluetooth music play if you don’t want to jack into your a/v receiver or Apple TV. Clean easy remote.

Took into consideration quite a few 2.1 systems and 5.1 as well. It has the right price point, as well. Performed as I hd hoped. Its power not entered on info about it- many agree was about 300 watts. I really like the settings for the subwoofer/ settings for music/ cinema/ night timer / even the ability to heighten dialog mode/ It was an easy setup it created awesome sounds during movies as well as music from spotify and dvd's.

The Polk Audio 2.1-Channel Soundbar System with 5-1/4" Wireless Subwoofer is a great addition to your home theatre. It's affordable and has great sound quality for all scenarios. The install/hook-up is very simple and quick. The only thing I wish this has was an on-screen display instead of just colored lights on the soundbar so that you know if you have accidentally muted the bar or if it turned off. No other complaints about it.

The sound is decent with this bar and the functions that are available are great for the price point. Unfortunately, the volume up and down jump by a far amount and feel as if they increase/decrease by 5 levels at a time instead of just 1. If you can, spend a bit more for the higher up models, but if you are looking for a decent sound to accent movies or shows without breaking budgets, this is for you.

    Great Sound but Poor Design

5 stars for the sound, 1 star for the design so that's how I've gotten to about 3 stars. The sound is great. It hits highs and lows very well and the subwoofer is a good complement to the system. I like the different movie, music, and voice settings. Now the bad part...the design is awful. First, the lights on the front of the bar are bright and annoying. If you have the lights off in your room and are watching a movie in the dark, you can't help but notice the bright lights staring at you. It was always distracting. Second, apparently Polk has a "green" or "energy star" certification on this product because it automatically shuts off after 15 minutes of idle time, saving power. This is by far the most annoying feature. I can't pause the movie or show and answer a phone call or cook dinner for 15 minutes without having to turn it back on every time. There is no way to turn this feature off and is one of the main reasons I returned it.

This soundbar has really great sound and bass. Watching movies in a small to medium room with this sound bar won't disappoint. The only negative is the way it shows volume and other things. Its just dots in the middle of the bar. This can be hard to see or confusing at times. With that said if it had some integration with the TV it would use the TV volume meter to represent the level of sound. All in all its a great sound bar.

I bought this sound bar to replace my older Vizio one, that had been operating glitchy. The sound is much better on this versus the Vizio, particularly the bass. It also has levels of audio for different times of day (softer at night, etc.), and voice enhancement for films and TV, which works really well. Overall a great buy.

Bought this Polk Audio soundbar 2.1 system for my bedroom tv. It sounds Fantastic and the wireless subwoofer really puts out the bass. I like the the night mode, which reduce’s the volume at night so I do not keep others in the home awake, It was easy to setup, but the only thing I had to do, was to add the soundbar to my Harmony remote, so I could have the soundbar turn on and off with my tv.

The Polk Sound Bar is as good (or better) than the great reviews that it is getting. We purchased it because of the Polk reputation, great reviews and small footprint (to fit on the existing fireplace mantle). It didn't hurt that it's price was much lower than other brands offering similar quality. I'd recommend anyone looking to upgrade their TV sound to consider this unit.

checked it out when we bought the new Samsung 75 in tv, chose the 2 series based on the salesman explaining it would put enough sound out for the size of our room...in the showroom it kind of sounded off a little, but we were also in a big room. Bought it, installed it, and love it, cranks up real well, and the sub woofer lays out very nice bass which we love
