Customers are saying
Customers highly value the Signa S2's sound quality, bass, and ease of use, frequently praising its impressive audio performance and user-friendly features. Many also appreciate the soundbar's compact size and affordable price point. While some users suggest improvements to the remote control and the lack of a display, the positive feedback on the sound and ease of setup outweighs these minor drawbacks. The Bluetooth connectivity is also a frequently cited advantage.

Not bad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good price, not bad just wish it came with a bracket for the sound bar. If it wasn't for the price I would have just purchased a jbl better but for the man cave this would do.

Poor quality, no indicator for volume level
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The HDMI (ARC) port went bad after about 2 months, had to change to optical , and the sound was not as good as before. Tried to mate it to my Samsung tv to turn off and on which worked for a while, and then that even quit working. When I did turn it on, it takes about 10 seconds before you hear anything. Having to use two remotes, one for the tv and one for sound is not my idea of convenience. There's no volume indicator on the unit and I was always wondering how loud it was going to be when it did come on. I have already bought a different unit and this one is headed for the trash.

Posted .Thank you for taking the time to share. HDMI ARC connection is the preferred connection. If the TV has HDMI ARC, connect an HDMI cable between the Soundbar and the TV for seamless integrating. The Polk Audio S2 also comes equipped with a Digital optical and/or analog audio input for your convenience.

Disappointment
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After enjoying a Samsung Soundbar for years, I decided to purchase another soundbar for another tv. I was sorely disappointed in the quality of sound in this Polk soundbar/subwoofer. There was no ability to fine tune the sound other than "voice" and "music" buttons that gave you the ability to either hear tinny voices or muffled voices and loud music. What a waste of money. My little 32" tv sounds better by itself.

Great for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went to Best Buy on Thanksgiving day to find some good deals and came across this sound bar. They had it on the display wall with the other brands and this held its own against some that were a little bit more. It was between either this or the vaunted Vizio set. I found the bass on the Polk to be a bit tighter than the Vizio's, so I picked it up. Set up is easy, especially if you have a television with HDMI ARC. I was up and running in minutes. This sound bar is easily one of the best deals in this price range. Movies and music all sound great. The bass module did its job and did it well. No complaints here (although this is more of a controlled, tighter sound. So if you like to blast music with boomy bass, this might not be for you.). If you're able to get this at the $149 price it less, it's a steal.

Bad quality
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this product with my new LG TV got it hooked up and it sounded great. Unfortunately the wireless sub-woofer works intermittently. I tried to resync the connection many times, restards, checking all connections and no avail. Will be returning this product for a more reliable system.

Disgusting sound for the price. Buy Vizio.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I own a Vizio 2.1 soundbar which I keep in my bedroom. The Polk is absolutely pathetic in both clarity and bass. The Polk sounds distorted when turned up a little bit. It also has zero bass when turned up to Max bass. Not even close to the bass level that the Vizio produces when turned ALL THE WAY OFF! I'm used to the Aiwa Exos 9 for music listening so both are trash in comparison. But I'll give the Aiwa a 9. The Vizio a 5. And the Polk is basically the worst speaker I've ever heard over $100. Pathetic. Returning.

2 connecting wires and a wireless sub not for me
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.couldn't get the sub to connect and didn't realize both optical and hdmi had to be connected, which didn't work for my tv, so I returned

Posted .Hello, both HDMI and Optical do not need to be connected. The preferred method is HDMI ARC if ARC is available on the TV. If ARC is not available, connect all sources to the TV then optical from TV to soundbar. If we can be of any assistance in the future, please do not hesitate to reach out. Junk!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This has to be one of the weakest sound bars I’ve had! To hear it at a decent level it shows it to about 40! Really? Then it has an automatic shut down, not sleep mode cause ill turn the tv back off mute or from screen saver and have to use the remote to turn it back on! Will never ever ever purchase this junk again! Thank god i had a bunch of discounts when i bought it! It is not worth 10.00! Please don’t ever buy this! Polk should retool this and give me back money!

Sound was good while it lasted
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quit working after one week. One other irritant was you had to turn it back on every time you turned on the TV. No option to leave it on.

Thin on highs and voices, while meek on sub base.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I cannot say that the Polk product didn’t operate ...it was just underwhelming on oomph. The sound bar Offered muddy human voices. Perhaps better sound costs more.
