I listened to several sound bars in-store, and this one outperformed the others in this price category. I’ve bought Polk audio equipment in the past and know they make a solid product. Also got good advice from a knowledgeable Best Buy employee, who said that with Polk’s proprietary VoiceAdjust technology, this 2.1 channel system sounds closer to a more expensive 3.0 system. On top of this, it was on sale over the holidays for 25% off, making this an exceptional value.

Love the sound, could improve

Takes 8-10 seconds to turn on and get the sound running, that is a little disappointing. Also turns off a little too quickly if the audio is through the optical connection and you’ve stopped listening to music/sound for a bit, a setting for this would be nice as I sometimes take a [a good] while to turn a vinyl record over. A model with an LCD display might be worth it but this sound bar definitely gets the job done. gets the job done.
