I am sure there is a fix, as this is a common issue with the Signa S2. Other than that, the sound bar itself is actually very good. Now, do not expect audiophile sound out of this thing, it is a light weight chunk of plastic. But, if you are looking for voice clarity, this is the bar to get at this price point. I bought on sale, so I would not pay more than $150 for this. I am sure there are better in the $200+ range. But, for my needs, it works. it does project the soundtrack into the room, voices are clear and crisp. Even on once hard to hear soundtracks, the voices are now audible, and that is what I was looking for. For general listening, it is a great purchase, do not expect Home Theater sound out of this. I cannot comment on the subwoofer, as again, it did not work right out of the box. Polk should ditch the subwoofer and sell this thing for $99 and you will have a real winner. Yes, I would buy one of these again.

Sounds Great but hook up issues

First day worked perfect. Second day turned TV on & no sound bar. Could not re hook it up thru HDMI! Used optical cable but now have to use the Polk remote shock most of the time does not work. Returning this one today & will try the Samsung to pair with my Samsung TV. UGH

Small form factor, big sound!

The tv sound was good but not as full-bodied as I like. This sound bar with the wireless sub fixed that right up. It fills the room with clear, crisp sound. Voices are easily heard over background and there is an option to enhance voices as well. Great purchase and well worth it.
