Customers highly value the Signa S2's sound quality, bass, and ease of use, frequently praising its impressive audio performance and user-friendly features. Many also appreciate the soundbar's compact size and affordable price point. While some users suggest improvements to the remote control and the lack of a display, the positive feedback on the sound and ease of setup outweighs these minor drawbacks. The Bluetooth connectivity is also a frequently cited advantage.

So there are a ton of very long reviews and very helpful so no need for me to elaborate. Here’s the key things I look for when buying a sound bar.
1. Sound quality = AWESOME open room 500 sq feet no tears. Unbelievable
2. Bass = Perfect no cracking at all. Music or TV
3. Ease of install= I don’t even remember making an effort. This thing practically installed itself.
It not a 3.1 meaning no center channel but you would never know.
ARC connection
Wireless sub 12 feet away no cutting out or delay.
Overall typical Polk fashion excellent product right there with Bose solo and 300.

Super easy setup, fuller sound than the tv speakers and bluetooth makes it versatile to place where you want the subwoofer. Only con is having a separate remote for sound vs your cable one

Simple setup, good directions (if you read them!) excellent sound quality, three modes including talk. Separate bas speaker volume control on remote - nice feature. Wireless woofer. Only mistake I made was connecting only optical cable; couldn't figure out why had to keep resetting TV input until read instructions saying I had to use HDMI as well - unless TV had ARC HDMI port, which our LG does. Now everything great. This replaced an older 5-channel surround sound system; don't miss that system at all.

I got this for my Mom's living room and it is awesome. The system hooks up easily to a Samsung TV using the HDMI-ARC port. You also have an optical connection. However, using the ARC port of the TV allows you to control the volume with the TV remote. Also, the sound bar powers on automatically when the TV comes on. Very easy for anybody to use, especially the older folks. The Polk fills the room with a lot of sound. The wireless sub woofer can be hidden, but it certainly is heard. The living room is a 16'x12' and the sound is great in the whole room.

Overall, I would say this is a nice sound bar. Very clear sound.
It came with HDMI cable, and you can control the volume with the same remote you use for your TV.
I had originally purchased the Insignia 2.1 sound bar, and that was awful, so I returned it and spent the extra$60 for this one. This sound bar can compete with Sony and other name brands, I tried all of them out at the store, and for the price this one was really nice. The subwoofer has clean bass, not extremely powerful, but adds enough to get the full range of effects; you can feel what's happening in a movie or show, like a vehicle crashing or explosion, etc...
I think for the price it's about as good as you are going to get.

Excellent sound coming out of this inexpensive sound bar with subwoofer. I caught it on sale for $79 at Best Buy. I give it 10 stars. You wont be disappointed. Geek Squad installed it and they were great.

I was referred to this brand & product by a Best buy associate. He had experience with this product & walked me through the set up & sampling the display. I was able to snag this sound bar on sale. After the super easy hook-up, I'm rather blown by the sound. I can actually hear my TV now & the subwoofer provides that extra theatrical touch. The customization that this sound bar allows is really cool & it can link with blue tooth. I'm very pleased & so was my husband when he received it as our anniversary gift.

I was looking for an upgrade to the basic TV experience from the built-in speakers and this setup delivers. The dialogue comes through clear and has 3 available levels to suit your preference. The sub provides more than enough bass for our space even at low volumes. The only complaints are the remote (as with other reviews) is not very responsive without pointing directly at the top of the bar and sometimes the bar disconnects even when using the HDMI-CEC connection. I have to turn the unit off then on to get a response. But I can live with that. Wouldn't pay full price as I wasn't looking to spend much since this isn't for our main viewing area so pleased with the purchase at the sale price.

Listened to various soundbars in the store and this one produced full bodied sound better than quite a few of the more expensive ones. The wireless subwoofer contributes greatly to that. Hooked it up with the included optical digital cable. Store clerk said it wasn't included, but indeed it was. Also paired easily on Bluetooth to my Android phone for playing Spotify if I want to. Look is clean and unobtrusive. Others have said they had issues with the remote but so far mine has worked perfectly. Bought mine when it was $50 off full retail. As I write this, it's now $70 off which makes it an excellent value.

This slim sound bar produces excellent sound quality at good value, compared to others. Coming from a Vizio sound bar whose power cut in and out, this has been been easy to set up and use. It does go off when the TV goes into sleeping mode and requires the use of its own remote when waken up, Other than that little quirk, if CEC on the TV is enabled, other remotes control the sound as well. Overall, this modern-design bar does its job well.

Very impressed with the sound quality of this soundbar and wireless sub. Bought this for our exercise room while it was on sale and had minimal expectations. When I turned this on, I was blown away with the sound quality. Installation and set up was pretty easy. Only flaw is the remote and indicator lights are fairly hard to decipher and I find myself having to reference the manual to understand the different sound modes and bluetooth capability.

Outstanding sound bar with sub. I bought this at the same time I bought my Samsung TV. Makes a great improvement over the tv speakers and i can hook up my phone thru Bluetooth to play music. For the money it is a great buy if you don’t have a AV system. I got mine on sale.

This is a great midrange sound bar. I initially bought it for my office gaming setup but ended up being too long for the setup. I finally installed it on the master bedroom tv and it sounds fantastic. We all just watched Spider-Man:far from home with a sick kid and between the sound and (Wireless bass) it’s the next best place to watch a movie aside from the home theater setup i have.
Pros: Hdmi (arc), optical, aux, and Bluetooth.
Wireless sub
Great Sound
Cons:No digital display. Light meanings confuse others. No volume display while running through arc control.

After reading a CNET review online, I got this soundbar/subwoofer set to go with my 32-inch Vizio TV. It was really easy to set up, and it came with the HDMI cable I needed for it. The remote is easy to understand and use, and I can also control the sound with my TV's remote. The sound is great for shows, and movies. I haven't tried to set up the bluetooth to play music from my phone yet. Highly recommend this soundbar set for your small tv.

I had bought the LG sk6y sound bar after having the older LG sh3k (which was great) but the sk6y was very flat no bass just sounded awful, so I returned it and picked up the Polk signa s2 and even for being cheaper its sounds 100x better than the new lg in every way! Plus the Signa s2 has a fuller sound, better bass and the EQ options for movie, night, and music are great. Polk even gives you a hdmi cable unlike LG, it goes to prove you don't always get what you pay for, higer price doesn't mean better all the time.

Great Polk Audio sound in a compact package significantly enhances TV viewing. We were so impressed with our first Polk Signa S2 sound bar and subwoofer connected to our 50" LG that we purchased a second one for our new 43" LG TV. Clear speech is enhanced by notable dynamic range and powerful deep full bass when the program or movie calls for it. Easy to set up and simple connection via HDMI. Small remote offers wide range of sound options and adjustments.

We purchased a 60inch OLED and installed and the sound was anemic. (So much my wife who is not a videophile literally was giving a thumbs down when it was on.). It needed help so we went to he website. Our store was open for curbside only and we could not listen to any systems. This unit was one that was in stock and it was the right price point sow we purchased it. We are not disappointed. It was very easy to install and the subwoofer is innocuous against the wall. It adds the right quality of sound to on air TV. Later a superhero movie was watched and the sound was excellent. Not quite in theater good, but I was impressed. The voice volume adjustment is nice as well. We can isolate the voice volume control to give it a boost without increasing the ancillary volumes. We have used the Bluetooth feature as well to stream music from a phone. I am sure higher priced units are superior and may be necessary if one is wanting surround sound or in-theater experience, but for this price I am convinced it cannot be beat.
