Customers highly value the Signa S2's sound quality, bass, and ease of use, frequently praising its impressive audio performance and user-friendly features. Many also appreciate the soundbar's compact size and affordable price point. While some users suggest improvements to the remote control and the lack of a display, the positive feedback on the sound and ease of setup outweighs these minor drawbacks. Great System
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to help the audio in my room for my tv and if I wanted to play my music louder than my echo dot. I can say this thing really gives me as much sound and base as I need in my personal bed room. It can also blast loud enough for my entire apartment if I want. At night, it is very nice to use the night time button because it moderates the base so I don't have to adjust it for different moments in a movie or tv episode. Overall, if you want a sound bar and base that can work for tv or music, I would recommend this one.

Reliable Sound Enhancement for a Reasonable Price
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this sound system upgrade for my Sony 65” 900E smart TV on sale in the store for $179. It replaced a Sony HT-CT800 sound bar system which I purchased 19 months ago (unfortunately without warranty). This Sony system suddenly failed to voice (lip) sync or allow access to the setup screen and updates which could not be rectified. The Polk system practically set itself up and in a matter of minutes it was up and running. I paid considerably less money for the Polk system and the sound offers 1) better bass 2) not quite as crisp upper register dynamics, but close. When listening to music the Polk sound is very comparable to my Beats Wireless Solo 3 head set. It gets four stars for easy set up and control. It has two volume controls, one for the sub which puts out very good bass, and for the soundbar itself which offers several different settings which can actually create crisper guitar and voice tracks. No where could I find the wattage output of the system directly stated but in one set of specs I came across it was only 40w. This was why I gave it only four stars but honestly the Polk puts out plenty of volume for our living room TV and our normal viewing listening habits. The sound would probably get drowned out during a big house party but that probably isn’t going to happen any time soon. This time I bought a two year extended Best Buy warranty. Finally, I couldn’t a negative review of this sytem, all were positive.

Great for the price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds way better than my TV speakers and better than the Bose Sound bar I had. The Bose was really muddy with too much midbass. This one is great for the price. The only issue is the remote does not always respond and you have to get close to the bar to make it work properly. Not sure if it's a bad remote/sensor on the bar or an issue to this model. Many people prefer the Vizio over this but I thought the Vizio was too bassy. It probably all depends on where you use it but I am happy with this Soundbar.

Very happy for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’m sure you can pay a more and get a better product. But for this price tier, I’ve been very pleased. Easy to set up out of the box. Connected to my LG smart TV, the power and volume of the sound bar connect with my tv remote. Like most smart TVs, I had trouble hearing speech on the TVs speakers. This made a big difference. I’ve also synced my phone to the sound bar, one touch on the sound bar remote to toggle back and forth. Again, for the price, I’m happy with the quality of the unit.

Great sound, horrible remote control
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The remote wouldn’t stop me from purchasing this again, but it is the reason I’m leaving a review. I hate this remote - every day. How can it be so bad?? It never recognizes when I click power to turn on or off. Is it that big of a deal? It’s like tiny bits of torture that adds up over time. The speakers are fantastic. Don’t let the remote stop you from getting this. It’s super slim with a big punch. But that remote...

Amazing sound!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.amazing sound and depth from this system. Even without the Subwoofer the soundbar sounds great. Just a heads up, if you live in an apartment make sure you turn down the volume if setting it up late at night. The default volume out if the box was awesome...but the neighbors didn't appreciate it. Great upgrade to the mini Samsung soundbar i had before. Set-up was simple, didn't have to go into the tv sound settings at all, and the quick connect for the sub connected instantly.

Excellent sound bar for this price range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had initially bought a Samsung sound bar 150 price range based on reviews this past Black Friday. I decided to go to Best Buy the next day to listen sound bars to make comparisons before I opened up the Samsung I had just bought. I listened to LG Samsung Polk and Sony. $200 and under price range. This Polk blew them away. The highs were more crisp, the lows were More clear and the bass was deep. Even at high volume it did not sound distorted like the others. Home experience: I really like the movie mode voice sounds very clear, action movies you hear all the sound effects explosions, tire screeching etc... The night mode is really cool too, it tones down the bass so u don’t disturb people at night. It even has a bass control I crank it up when listening to music it has a kick. I extremely recommend this sound bar over the others. Go get it now before Polk realizes they underpriced it. I paid $150 on sale at Best Buy.

Great Sound for a Small Price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought a Samsung Q80T 50" mid-sized tv for small room. I was surprised the tv had good sound, but very directional. So after a week I decided on the Polk S2 after a lot of research for a system under $200.00. Being in a small room I didn't think I needed to go overboard on technology or cost. Set-up was easy using the HDMI cable into the eARC input3 on my Q80T. Turned on the system and the instructions on screen helped me set up the system, as I followed along with the instruction... yes, those things you usually throw out with the box. The set-up could not have been more simple. Since this is a bedroom set-up, I initially had the woofer on the dresser top next to the sound bar that was on its little pads. The sound was good and better than just the tv, but it wasn't until I moved the woofer down to the floor did start to hear the real difference in sound. Then I happened to be moving the sound bar a little and as I lifted it up off of the dresser, I really heard a sound difference. Now I have a couple of pads under each end of the sound bar that lifts it up about 3/4 to 1 inch off the dresser. After turning off the lights and putting on a action movie and laying down to relax... I started to get the full Dolby experience. I am really happy with the sound with this system. Impressive for the low cost and perfect for a smaller room. I totally recommend this sound bar, the woofer doesn't shake the room, but it delivers great base for a really full sound. Definitely perfect for a bedroom tv or a small apartment at a price that won't hurt the pocket book. On sale often at about $150.00, you can't beat it.

That bass tho!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great entry level sound bar. I bought this for my bedroom setup. The bass is flat out amazing. The highs are good too. I like the auto shut off feature if you leave your TV on say Android TV home screen or screensaver. Over all it sounds great! It's not as good as my Sony Dolby Atmos setup in my living room. But that was twice the price and imo the Sony one isn't twice as good as this Polk setup. I would recommend this to anyone that can't drop $500 on a setup.

Sound
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Out of all the sound bars that I have demonstrated this one has the best sound and quality for his size the bass speaker that comes along with this system has the tones and base of a real live orchestra whether you’re looking for enjoyment to listening to music what are your favorite TV show sitting down in the room that you desire makes you feel like you’re in a movie theater or a concert hall the best bang for your buck no disappointment here extraordinary sound meet and exceed my expectations

Great sound for a small package
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Went from a full surround sound that failed to this. When buying I was a little bummed on what was available, but the best by rep assured me that I would be impressed. With the correct tv linked to it, (which we have a Samsung 4k QLED), it works very well. Connects easy and sounds amazing. Had to turn down the bass as it was a little too much at times, but would thump our entire 3600 sqft house. wish they offered rear speakers, but overall a great little sound bar and sub.

Overall good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Shocked on how good the quality of sound was for the price. Easy to set up and hook up to our tv and DVD player. It's a good sound system. Was actually looking at a couple of different more expensive sound systems and the sales person had us listen to a lot of different ones and went with this one instead. Disappointed only has place were you can mount it on the soundbar but not the actually brackets to mount to wall. So felt the box saying what it came with was a little misleading.

Excellent value for the price
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this for my husband for Fathers Day 2020. Excellent sound and love the depth that comes from the subwoofer. Great for action movies etc. love that I can connect my phone via Bluetooth to listen to Spotify etc. music setting are a bonus. Like that my Roku remote/TV connects to it to control while watching TV. Only thing I don’t like is it times out eventually if you pause the TV (to say like take a phone call) and you have to use the soundbar remote to turn the unit back on.

Pretty good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this unit for a few weeks now. Its wired to my Samsung 65 inch 4K TV and my PS4. This is the first soundbar I've ever owned as I'm from the old school of wired home theater speakers. I was skeptical at first. Fired it up and was pleasantly surprised. It gets pretty loud and the sub isnt over powering. I still prefer my 13 speaker home theater setup but for gaming and sports this little guy does the trick. I like that I can pair my phone and stream Pandora. Overall I'm pretty happy considering the cost.

POLK SIGNA S2, B-I-G value at a small price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Connected the Polk Signa S2 to a 65" Samsung OLED TV. Setup was a breeze. Polk provided HDMI cable to connect to the ARC HDMI, which allows for seemless audio, essentially replacing the tvs speakers. Polk has a long history of being a quality manufacturer of audio speakers. Also provided was an Optical cable, although it is unnecessary if your TV has a HDMI ARC port. My Xfinity remote seamlessly interfaced with the sound bar, I didn't have to change any of my TV's settings. The remote has 3 servings for voice clarity. My wife is a little hard of hearing, if there is a lot of background noise, she has to have TV volume up very high to hear the TV conversation. Now she can turn up only the "voice", daving my ears. This unit was graded very high in Consumer Reports, and for $139 bucks was a steal. I can connect my phone via Bluetooth and stream audio, crisply and clearly. My room is 15 by 20 and the 40 watts per channel is more than adequate for my families needs. If I was in my 20's, single and entertained a lot, the Polk Signa S2, would still have been a great pick. Thumbs up to the Polk Sound Engineers, they have hit another home run for the cost conscious consumer. Thumps up!

Incredible sound and value!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So first off, I'm a professional musician and audio engineer, so I am extremely picky when it comes to speakers. This system blew me away. At the store they had several on display that could be demoed. Out of all the ones displayed, to my ears, the Polk Signa S2 destroyed the competition. I was shocked to look down at the price tag and realize it was a quarter of the price of some of the other Sound Bars. I would and have recommended this product. Good work Polk! On a side note, I really appreciate that Best Buy had all of their models out for demonstration. These days it's so easy to shop online, but being able to hear and try each product before you buy, is unbeatable! Thanks Best Buy!

Great sound with adequate bass
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This offers a good sound for watching TV and movies. There is plenty of Bass and the hookup was relatively simple. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because it doesn't go super loud. I generally leave it turned up over 90% (that's my guess since it doesn't show this amount). I am slightly hard of hearing, but I feel this should offer 5-10 more decibels.

Smart, elegant sound bar
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The lower profile of the sound bar is perfect for sitting under the screen without blocking the remote sensor. A detail overlooked by other models. Sound is great, subwoofer is substantial. Fills the room with theater worthy sound. Easy set up with HDMI cable included. Remote is small but easy to use. Very happy I settled on this model after researching several others. Great performance for the price.
