Cons: No numeric volume level display on LG TV screen and there are times when sound comes through the TV speaker instead of the sound bar. This has only happened a few times in the month I've had the bar. Pros: Good sound. Clear voice. Can control with Apple TV remote. Turns on/off automatically. Looks good.

Really like the sound on this unit. Whats keeping it back from being 5 stars is that when we don't want to use the device and turn on the TV speakers. The sound bar will power on all by itself and then we have to turn it off again. It's very annoying. Why it powers up after being turned off is beyond me.

This is the second Polk soundbar I have purchased. It was very easy to set up and adds more to the sound of the television. Very good for the price.

Easy to install and now I can listen to music using my TV and get great sound quality. I use the TV more for streaming music than watching...and was sick of the limitations of the TV speakers. This was an affordable way to improve the music experience and I'm so glad I bought it.

Great sound from 290w soundbar. The subwoofer performs well for a buck fifty. Be patient if you’re having trouble pairing it to your tv because chances are it’s all in the settings of the tv. Works well with my Samsung with the Arc HDMI cable once you dig into the settings.

Living in a tower with many apartments, having too much sound bar/sub was a concern. Also, dialogue clarity was a high priority. After reading tons of reviews on various sound bars in this general price range, I finally decided to pull the trigger. And I am very pleased with this unit!

Exactly what I was looking for in a sound bar and subwoofer. Great sound at a great price (bought on sale), but I must say, it's even a great value at full price. I use it on my 50" TV via the optical cable. In my opinion, the sound bar sounds exactly as advertised; very pleased!

Best thing about this 2.1 set up are the options the remote offers. A setting for music, movies, or viewing late at night that brings up vocals and tones down everything else. The one thing I didn't like is I couldn't find a way to set up my universal remote to it was even though auto scanning has been able to decode brands not listed before.

I got this when it was on sale. When I did the demo, in store, it sounded just as good if not better than the more expensive ones surrounding it. My only 1, mild complaint is that it takes a while to start up once the TV is turned on and occasionally won’t turn on automatically. Once it is on though, great sound!

So overall this is a good setup, we’ve had a few issues with sound going out. A simple restart solves it though. We tried contacting customer support but unfortunately we’re out of warranty. Overall would recommend this purchase because we may have just gotten the one exception.

This sound bar is perfect in so many ways. The low clearance allows my Harmony remote to turn On/off the tv. Also the sound it generates is amazing from a low profile sound bar! I only wish the sound bar has an auto on/off feature So I didn’t have to program my directv remote

Was going to buy a Bose system. Listened to Polk. The separation of bandwidths, hearable range, was obvious. You should listen before you buy. 2 years and working great.

I had Polk audio as a teen booming in my car. This sound bar has thr best bass sound I've ever heard. There is also 3 options on the remote that reduces the bass and enhances words. Love this unit! Sounds like im sitting in a movie theater in my small apartment.

At Christmas my wife a I purchased a TV thinking the sound would have been improved on the newer models. Not so. Turning the sound up did not help, we still missed words and still had to lower the sound when the ads ran. With the sound bar, the sound comes through as set, putting TV life back together once again.

My parents wanted a way to help enhance the dialogue so they don't have to have the television volume up so loud - then all the music and background sounds wash out the dialogue. This did the trick. They went from saying, "we don't need this" to "we are really appreciating this."

I am blown away from not only how much sound this simple speaker gives out but also how great the sound quality is. I love the function that amplifies the voices so you can actually hear what they're saying. This was truly a great buy for someone who doesn't want to spend an arm and a leg on a home theater system.
