This speaker has excellent sound quality as a "budget speaker" crisp, and precise. Would definitely recommend to someone looking for great sound but not overpaying for it.

The design of this speaker is good, as not many center channels are only 4" tall. Ascetically the speaker is attractive with a mid-century modern flare. Many speakers are simply rectangle boxes. Unfortunately the 4" height limited the use of speakers and that shows in the sound quality. I couldn't hear any lower mid-range sound and surprisingly the highs also seemed muted. About the only thing you can plainly hear is the upper range of speaking voices. The speaker was very flat. Also, I still had a hard time hearing voices correctly. This speaker usually gets great reviews, which is one of the reasons why I bought it. However, I can't see why it earned these reviews. I ended up returning it. I have listened to speakers in the $150 range that had a much fuller range than this speaker.

I bought this speaker because my wife could not hear voice conversations very well. so I purchased without letting her know for 2 weeks and she never complained again about hearing the voice conversations.

I used to have difficulty hearing dialogue clearly on my older center speakers. I upgraded to this Polk one and it was night and day. Now dialogue cuts through loud and clear.

Switched to this from the Sony center channel unit Best Buy currently offer. While it lacks a bit of the bassy punch of Sony speaker, dialogue is far more clear and present. Pretty happy so far.

I love the looks of this unit! I have it mounted to the top of my entertainment center using rubber feet. It's slim height makes it versatile, but the 7 speakers make it look awesome! So far dialog has been crystal clear.

This product works well for bringing out the vocal audio portion of a movie sound track.

It's a good center channel speaker. It did take some adjusting as I felt there was too much bass in the voices which could make the dialogue sound somewhat muddy. However after adjusting volume and crossover it sounds fantastic.

Overall very happy with it's performance. Sound quality seems good.

Great looking speaker, arrived fast and as described. Low profile is nice and hooks up on the back work great with banana plugs.

I needed one that wasn't as tall and this fit the perfectly. Ive tried several sound bars and never found one that matched even a small 5.1 system. my issue has always been poor dialog thru the center speaker especially when streaming movies. Dvd and OTA Eveything is fine.

This replaced a much larger Polk Center Speaker. I now have more usable space, this speaker sits behind and below my tv and does it sound great. Clear and "crisp". I am very glad that I did it.

For most programming this speaker does a great job of pulling out dialogue from background noise. Naturally it cannot change the quality of audio of the source material so don't expect miracles. I would buy the speaker again, and recommended two friends and family but with the caveat stated above.
