A great sound pair of speakers, I was pleasantly surprised with them, the quality of the build and the way they look are really nice as well. A great price too.

I bought these to pair with the stereo amplifier I use with my turntable. The speakers I use for my surround are great for movies and TV, but seemed a little lifeless when it came to playing music. I bought a dedicated amp for the turntable, and needed a pair of speakers to go with it. These were on sale and well-reviewed, so I bought a pair. I can't really go into the nuance an audiophile would when describing speakers, but I do know these are way better than my smaller surround speakers for music. I did try them as front surrounds for bit, just to see how they sounded, and they added a bit more "space," but I ultimately preferred my smaller bookshelf-type speakers for that purpose. Overall, yes, at the price these typically go on sale for, I recommend.

I purchased these great speakers and they sound wonderful just what i need to pair with my Polk bookshelf speakers Go Polk!

My stereo sounds amazing witht these speakers! My vinyl records and CD's sound crisp and full of bass.

Added these floor standing speakers to my surround system to increase high end and mid range response for new TV and Netflix films. IT worked!!! Great price!!

I bought these speakers as a Christmas gift for my daughter. We currently own two pairs of Polk Audio speakers and they sound really nice. I thought I'd give her something to hook up to her stereo system. These speakers sound okay. Not like the ones we have. Bass is a bit boomy and the mids aren't as clear. The highs are also not as crisp. She's happy with them and they love using them for movies. Prior to this, I gave them our Sony Home Theater set up. They call it home theater, but it's a very basic receiver and five tiny speakers. The speakers are like the kind you find on a computer system. Thin wire, cheap speakers, etc. The Polk's sound much better than the "surround" speakers. The Polks are very light weight also. For the price, I sure can't complain. So I gave it four stars, which takes into account the price value.

Wow, I can actually understand what is being said on my TV. My older speakers must have been in very poor condition, but how do you know? Get these speakers and find out. Great sound!

These speakers are really great looking and produce a super sound. No problems as of now. Very easy to wire into your home system.

Great speakers for the price, paired with Polk PSW10 powered sub fills in the low end. Good value and nice sound.

Lately I’ve been buying Polk products! I really enjoy the sound and quality! I would highly recommend getting the center speaker and quality speaker wire and banana plugs.

Pros:Detailed sound, nice mid-range and lows. Don't need an expensive Amp or receiver to power it Cons: Highs can get a bit harsh.

These speakers sound and look far more expensive than the price I paid. Very well balanced sound, and quite efficient so they won't over tax your amp. Very satisfied with these!

Great sound, great looks and good value .Purchased a pair of matching speakers are they look great in my family room.

For the $75 that I paid for these the performance is excellent. For entry level towers, these speakers punch above their weight. They do need a sub to reinforce the low-end, but they are smooth and non-fatiguing throughout the rest of the range. A good entry-level option

Bottom line, these speakers are great sounding but also won’t break your wallet when buying them. Highly recommended!

Bought these to replace my previous speaker configuration, and to complete a 7.2 setup with a new receiver. Sound is excellent. I got a pair of these as my front/main speakers.

Great speakers for a small sized room. Was skeptical at first because of the cheap price, but they sound great and pair well with center channel and surrounds in the same series. I bought rhem to replace my Bose 301s

I purchased two of these speakers for my living room entertainment system. They sounded so great that I purchased 4 more when I put together my home theatre system. I also purchased a Polk center speaker and Polk sub-woofer to complete the system.

This is a nice speaker. I have a Polk surround in my living room and bedroom. These speakers have a good sound to them. I bought these for my bedroom but ended up using them in the living room and put the other Polk speakers that I've had for many years in my bedroom.
