these towers produce some killer bass, can be mellowed out with a good EQ.. overall a good speaker for the price..

Upgrading from a soundboard, I wanted to avoid spending a ton but still hear good sound quality for movies, music and video games. These speakers have been a great purchase, as they really crank when desired and sound so much better than the sound bar, for not much more money. Highly recommend!

I'm very happy with these speakers. I was hesitant at first that they could be any better than the 25 year old Sony speakers I already had, however I'm so glad I ordered them. Dialog is so much clearer, that being the main reason for my purchase. I also ordered the center speaker.

Purchased two of these to complement a subwoofer. Great highs, and overall good sound. Some low bass notes sound a little distorted, but not bad for the price of these speakers. Would recommend for purchase for a mid-level surround sound system.

Great sound, great price. I paired these with a T30 center channel and a PSW108 sub. These towers put out tons of sound. Even my 7 year old commented on how much better they sounded than the old speakers (Onkyo satellites).

I picked these up around the thanksgiving sales and got a stellar deal. Along with the bookshelf speakers from the same line they sound great in a home theater. The effect of surround is amazing for the price. I also have a Paradigm cc-350 center channel and it does a very good job of imaging. When it is just the two of the T50's on, you would swear the center channel is still on. The imaging is that good. The bass is not very good for front channel speaker, but in my apartment they are the perfect volume. You can still hear all the bass, just no slam at all. Perfect for a second theater or a bedroom system.

Have these speakers paired in my family room with a Polk CS10 center channel speaker and love the sound. Very dynamic for music and AV. I have a Pioneer VSX-521-k receiver. Best Buy tech was very knowledgeable and the speakers shipped to me within a few days.

Been running these for a couple days now. Don't even have them dialed all the way in and they already sound great. Good bass (I am also running a 10inch sub) but they still complement it with a good mid range bass. I am more than happy with this purchase.

We’ll I bought the whole set on the Black Friday deal. Couldn’t go wrong with these. I really enjoy them. The only problem I have is that one of them didn’t work. So I brought it back to Best Buy they replaced it and now I’m really digging these speakers.

I had a surround sound system and got rid of it and bought a sound bar for my Samsung TV. Although the soundbar is nice I missed my surround sound and I decided to upgrade my surround sound system with the Polk Audio series. I got the whole system and love it from the sub-woofer and the shelf speakers and the tower speakers and the center speaker. Love the quality and sound of the Polk Audio system and the price and availability with Best Buy. Highly recommend !!!! Fantastic product !!!!

The Polk T50 is a very good addition to the two sets of Polk bookshelf speakers I already have. I'm very pleased with the sound quality and looks of this speaker. I purchased them on sale at a great price. Couldn't be more happier with this purchase.

Seriously, you can't beat these speakers for the money. A guaranteed upgrade for anyone with a satellite speaker system. Fairly small footprint, so partner friendly to incorporate into your space. They can stand on their own, but really need a subwoofer to support the lower end.

These tower speakers sound great and produce a fair amount of Mid range bass.

I like the sleek look and how it doesn’t take much room, but it doesn’t feel small. The sound is loud and worth the money.

I purchased a set of these speakers as a gift for my father, to replace a set of Pioneer speakers that were over 25 years old. Nevertheless, the Polk T50s are a good value. Having various models of Polk speakers, I was impressed at what these lower-end speakers delivered. For the price of around $150 a pair (on sale), it was worth it. However, if the speakers are at regular price (MSRP), I would look at some more mid-range models. That being said, they appear to be pretty close in performance to Polk’s mid-range speakers.

Love the sound. Output is awesome. Look is great too.They handle the lows pretty well. Mids and highs are extremely clear. Excellent home theatre effect.

Excellent entry level speakers (for an apartment). I paired it with the Polk Sub PSW-10 and a Pioneer VSX-532 receiver. So far highs, lows and voices during movies sound great; much better than the last three sound bars I had.

I love these speakers! I had an old pair of Sony floor standing speakers before. They did sound good and had excellent bass. I decided to try Polk Audio because I have always loved their speakers. I'm glad I did. They sound different, but better than my old Sonys. They produce all levels of sound, from bass to mid-range to treble, while still sounding like it is coming from one small area. Sounds like no big deal, but to produce high quality surround sound, it is very important. Very happy with my purchase.

If you're looking for the great name and quality of Polk in an inexpesive speaker then this is the one. You're not going to blow up house with these but they are adequate for listening to music and movies at a decent level. If you are looking for more bass and power I'd go with the next ones up.
