Waited for this to go on sale before purchase. Still wasted money. Absolute garbage that i could not stay awake to finish in one shot. They should give away remaining copies for free, but i still could not recommend it to anybody. Not even fun to watch as a joke.

This was the WORST remake I have ever seen of ANY movie. Is Sam Rockwell a terrible actor, or his character just a dim-witted, slow, dry individual? Don't waste your time or money! Watch the classic original instead.

Dear god why did they make this!? Seriously! It was terrible! Doesn't even hold a candle next to the awesomness that is the original. Do your self a favor and don't even bother with this atrocity.

This was just a big disappointment. The story was ridiculous and the characters unbelievable There is no need to remake a classic unless you can match the original.

I was pretty let down by this movie. Maybe it had to much to live up too, but the end result from the acting to pacing is pretty terrible. Was hoping for something better...

I can't believe I even bought this movie before reading any reviews. It was not good at all. The first poltergeist was much much better. No idea why this movie was remade.

It’s being advertised as the original release but it’s the remake

This remake of Poltergeist is awful garbage. Nothing worthwhile about this movie. The disc includes an extended cut of the film for those interested in that.

I’m sorry I tried to watch it in the mindset of not comparing to the original but I just can’t. It was awful and I regret buying it.

Waste of time and $. Remakes are seldom good. This one gets an F. Looked at buying ever since it came out. Wished I had kept it at looking.

Not as scary as original Poltergeist. The 3D effects were some of the worst I have ever seen. Normal picture quality was bad as well.

this is not the movie you think it is but simply another movie with the same name! really upsetting RETURNED!

This movie did not need remaking. It took a movie I loved and left out the heart and didn't deliver the horror...

really disappointed with this movie, the previews looks awesome, but the truth is other, stay away from this title.

This would not have been worth going to see in the movie theater. Kind of upset about it
