This is the headset you want to purchase. Poly is a company formed by combining Polycom and Plantronics who have been in the business of video conferencing and headset manufacturing for quite a long time. Plantronics headsets were always considered the best in breed going back many years and the Voyager 4310 UC lives up to that reputation. Sound quality on both receiving and transmit is superb. Background noise has been reduced on both my phone calls via an Android phone and ZOOM calls from my PC and iPad. The PC uses the included BT700 High-Fidelity USB dongle. While it is not absolutely necessary this dongle increased my Bluetooth range considerably. One give away that Poly knows something about headsets is the fact that some of your voice is returned to the earpiece. This is called sidetone and prevents you from raising you voice on conference calls. The lack of this is why everyone seems to yelling when talking on cellphones ! I have used this headset on an iPad, an Android phone and a PC without any pairing issues. It has a memory of 8 pairings and can be connected to two devices at the same time. I find the headset comfortable after wearing for many hours. When turned on it will tell you the battery state and what device(s) are connected. This is a one side on-the-ear headset. The microphone can swivel almost 360 degrees so you can wear the headset on either ear. The MUTE button is conveniently placed on the microphone arm. Volume UP and Down controls are located on the back of the earpiece and have tactile feel, along with a multi purpose button that can call your assistant on the connected device. The companion software called Poly Lens is available for Windows and Apple IOS. This is where you can select the many available options for the headset and perform software upgrades. This is also where the user guide is located along with links to the quick start guide, device info/logs, and support should it be necessary. The IOS APP further includes a FIND ME feature that will cause the headset to emit a loud noise to aid you in finding it should you misplace it. The IOS App also tells you the remaining talk time left on the battery. A generous length USB A to USB C cable is supplied along with an adapter to allow the cable to be double ended USB C. This cable is used for charging or using your headset in a wired mode if not using Bluetooth. No power brick is supplied, which seems to be the norm now. Also included is a nice satchel to store your headset in when not in use. It even includes a small pocket for the USB A to C adapter. Now that is attention to detail ! This is an exceptional headset and I seem to have tried them all these last two years. You will not be disappointed with this purchase. This should be the last headset you should have to buy.

Quick Review ------------------- This is a great headphones to do zoom calls when you are working from home as most of us are either 100% work from home or working in a hybrid mode. Love the fit and the other party could hear me much clearer than the true wireless buds I have been using on my zoom calls. Pros ------ 1. Excellent battery life ~25 hrs 2. Good range ~165ft (even better with the base) Cons ------ 1. Would love to have speakers on both ears. Details ----------- Talking about the fit first, i have a large head and this headset fits perfectly well. The finish for headset this price is pretty good This works well with my Bluetooth enable desktop. If you have a older desktop which does not have Bluetooth enabled, this one also works with the USB adapter (comes with it) The setup is a breeze, no download of software needed plug and play. Mostly use this for zoom calls and works like a charm on the zoom calls. I wish this came with the charging dock (which needs to be purchased separately ) Otherwise it’s a great device,

So I received my Plantronics Voyager 4310 headset a few days ago and have been putting it through its paces. Upon opening the box you will find the Plantronics Voyager 4310 headset along with a USB Bluetooth adapter, USB-C to USB A cable, USB-A to USB-C adapter, soft carrying case, and user instructions. I love that the headset is very lightweight and can be work either on the left ear or right ear. The mic arm can be rotated either way depending on what side you choose to wear it on. On the ear cuff side are the volume up and down buttons. The center button can be used for Microsoft Teams (which I absolutely love), that my agency uses for our monthly trainings/team meetings. On the mic arm is also an easily accessible mute button that you can easily press to put any call on mute. The power button/bluetooth button is located just below the ear cuff. On my initial use of the headset I did have a little bit of a connection problem when I received my first call. I could hear my caller loud and clear, however, they could not hear me. After downloading the PLT Hub app from the App Store for iOS (also available for Android on the Google Play Store) and updating the firmware, my headset began working as it should. Other on the receiving end was able to finally hear me loud and clear as I was able to hear them too. Using the USB Bluetooth Adapter connected to your desktop/laptop, you can download the Poly Lens app from poly.com/lens (for Windows & Mac) to tweak your devices as you like from volume settings and ringtones to health and wellness reminders. My favorite is the enabling sounscapes such as mountain ranch, gentle ocean, or babbling brook. The battery life has been outstanding and I love the fact that I can use this headset while walking around the house. It has been an absolute blast using this Poly Lens app as well as the headset in general. Lastly, the headset is very comfortable to wear and does not hurt or start to irritate the side of your head that I've noticed in other headsets.

If I could give it 0 stars I would . I barely used it and it constantly stops working. My only option after a little over two weeks is to make a very out of the way trip to a store which Mu health doesn’t allow at this time. Do NOT buy this junk,

Plantronics Voyager 4310 is the latest wireless noise cancelling single ear headset from Poly. It comes with a boom mic, which works flawlessly and picks up clear audio while you speak. The boom extension can be rotated so you can wear the headset on either side of the ear. There is a red button on the boom for quick mute/unmute option. While using it for my Teams and Zoom call, others could hear me clearly without any background noise, thanks to the noise cancelling mic on the boom. On the headset, you have volume up and down controls as well as LED light that indicates call status. The headset can be connected to the PC directly via Bluetooth 5.2 or using the USB adapter. You can also use the headset in wired mode using the USB cable. Using the USB adapter provides you with the farthest Bluetooth connection range, while direct connection isn't bad either. I am impressed with the overall battery life. The headset has a standby time of 50 days while the usage is rated at 47 hours. Another bonus is that you can charge it via USB C cable. I was able to use it entire week for my calls on a full charge. I like the dedicated Teams button on the headset. This comes in handy to bring up Microsoft Teams app, if you use it for work. Download Poly Lens app to update headset firmware, change settings, battery life, as well as use it to find your headset in case you misplaced it. Overall, this is a quality headset with nice features and versatile design for all day comfortable use.

This is the perfect headset for someone who is on the phone a lot, in meetings, and works in an office setting. The headset connects to a computer through Bluetooth or with the included dongle. Set up is fast and easy. The touch controls are useful for volume control, mute, and opening a teams meeting or raising your hand in that meeting. The microphone does a great job at picking up vocals only and not any surrounding noise. The sound quality of the audio in the ear is dependent on the other person's microphone but you can hear them very clearly. There is also an app called Poly Lens that you download on the computer that will perform software updates and offer additional features. There is even a feature similar to some smartwatches that remind you to take a break which is neat. The battery life is a huge plus for this headset considering you can put it to charge when you leave the office. It will last you a full day of work. The downside is that you won't get a battery percentage reading. The charging however is pretty quick when I tested it for 30 min. It went from medium to high battery so if needed, you can charge on the lunch break and come back to full battery. The headset is also comfortable. No fatigue throughout an 8 hour work day which is a problem for some headsets. Overall, it's a great headset for the office. I will be recommending this to everyone in the office.

I have been using this headset for the past week on my online meetings. Works flawlessly, connects to my MacBook with no issues. I do listen to music with the headphone between meetings even with just one earpiece still sounds very clear and rich. Then I pause my music and join my meeting and everyone can hear me without fail. I really like that this feels so comfortable after hours of meetings I don't feel fatigue or like I am uncomfortable from wearing a headset all day. Looking forward to using this for many months to come. I would highly recommend how light weight the earphones are and how solid and quality build is amazing. Very impressed these feel and sound like a very expensive headset. The button to get Siri and to switch music Is conveniently located in the middle of the earpiece so easy to use and to access. I like the way it works and the way its so easy to put in my laptop bag and carry with me. I have done so many meetings without fail and feeling confident it is going to connect to my MacBook every time as soon as I power them on. They are a good to go - ready to go and the mic is top quality and clear from what I have heard from my colleagues
