I already owned a Poly Voyager 4310 headset and was very happy with the comfort, quality of sound, and ease of use. I decided to buy a second to keep in New York. Unfortunately, the second unit was defective (headset wouldn't charge). I called HP/Poly customer service and they were extremely responsive and helpful. I took the unit back, the representative called the stockroom, located another unit, and exchanged it for the defective one ... all within 5 minutes. The new unit works perfectly. I just wanted to share this experience so others know that the folks in customer service at HP/Poly and Best Buy (Charlotte Pike/West Nashville) came through with flying colors!

With comfort and clarity at its core, the Plantronics Voyager 4310 UC headset is a great wireless option for any environment, be it workplace, home office, or gaming and entertainment room. This headset covers all your bases to let you work or play for as long as you need. The Voyager 4310 UC is lightweight yet sturdy. The over-ear piece connects with an adjustable headband that ends at a cushioned piece that allows the device to grip slightly and rest snuggly on your head. It is very comfortable over extended hours of usage, and its simple design allows you to remove it or put it on quickly and easily while also allowing you to place the earpiece over either ear. The flexible microphone wand is large and moves up and down to position near your mouth as required. The device is packaged with a USB Bluetooth adapter, a USB-C to USB-A cable, a USB-A to USB-C adapter, and a small carrying pouch that even has an inner pocket for the adapters. I really like the mechanical nature of the buttons: the click of the up/down volume, the snap of the on/off switch; the select button input; and the pull-back/hold sequence to enable Bluetooth pairing or to switch between devices. Each action works nicely and gives me confidence that the mechanism is being triggered properly. Though the provided adapters give this versatile headset a wired option, I prefer the wireless route when connecting to my devices. Pairing through Bluetooth was quick and flawless for my mobile phone, laptop, tablet, and gaming system. The Voyager 4310 UC worked from across several rooms and floors of my house, with a listed range of up to 164 feet. The battery life is impressive as well, with talk time up to 24 hours wirelessly. And most importantly, the sound comes through loud and clear and goes out from the mic with very little background noise. Gaming online or hosting a web conference with the Voyager 4310 UC cuts down on your many peripheral devices so you can focus less on any clutter around you and more on the work (and play) in front of you. Overall, this little headset is an instrument for productivity. With its wireless versatility, comfortable wearing style, prolonged battery life, and overall reliability, the Voyager 4310 UC lets you stay connected to all your devices when at home or at the office. A great little product. Full disclosure, I received this product for my honest, unbiased review.

I wear glasses and it fits comfortably. Sound quality is great and no one has had issues hearing me. The on/off, volume, answer call buttons easy access while wearing. I like that it tells you the battery life when you turn it on. Only con is that it can slip a little with head movement as I do walk around in my job.

We are in the process of starting a new business and needed a new headset. I have tried a few different styles over the years but this was the one that I never tried but seemed like I would like the most. Something with a speaker closer to the quality of a good headphone on one side, with the other ear free. After using the Plantronics Voyager 4310 for 1 call I knew I had found what I was hoping for. Sound quality is excellent, even music sounds pretty good thru it. The mic is solid, I have used it for probably 10 calls now and I asked each person how I sounded to them and they all said good or great. The mic also can spin around so the speaker can go on the left or right side of your head. The placements of all the usual buttons such as volume, answer, power and mute are intuitive and well marked. Pairing to both my Windows PC and Android phone were super quick and easy. I had one weird issue that after doing a little research I see others have occasionally experienced. Its brain got a little scrambled and just kept saying mutemutemutemute mute on and it would repeat. I turned it off and on and it kept doing it. My solution was the same as I had read online, just keep resetting it. It was probably on attempt 6 or 7 that it stopped and it was back to normal. Which when it is operating properly, is great! To me, this is a 5* device but this bug was a little annoying. I hope it doesn’t continue to happen, it was early on when I was hitting all the different settings and connecting and reconnecting it to devices. So maybe it just happens then. I’m going to give this headset 5*s and at this point I can say I would recommend it to a friend. If the bug happens again, I may change my mind. For now though, I love it!

Very nice headset, solid and most important it is extremely comfortable. I used about 3 hours with no pinched ear pain at all. Also important is with my glasses the headset did not pinch me. The glasses test is very important for me since some headsets don’t have the right curve in the design to ensure they stay put, are comfortable and allow glasses to be worn without discomfort. Tip of the cap to the Plantronics/Poly engineers. Normally I like one ear free so this headset worked best for me. The mic is reversible to either side of head. This unit does not work with all its functions unless you install the Poly Lens app. This is important whether you use it with a cell phone or with a PC. I didn’t install the app for my first test and I noticed the mute button didn’t work. However, once I installed the app, the button worked fine – my bad. Also there are other functions that will not work unless you have the app, so I suggest you review the owner’s manual; go to poly.com/lens (or go straight to this product with this link: https://www.poly.com/us/en/support/products/bluetooth-headsets/voyager/voyager-4300-uc I do like to check out product sites when doing reviews and I can say without reservation that the Poly site is one of the best ever. Well designed and excellent support if needed. In my case I just wanted to understand more about enabling features. You can download the app or update software from this site. Also you should click on the ‘Guides and Manual’ tab. The 16 page manual is a must read I felt, and will show you all the details not included in the ‘Start Here’ Guide that was in the box. Very well done. They also include Troubleshooting Tips, Help contacts, etc. Audio is not the best but this is expected as the function here is for meetings. However, I enjoyed Youtube music as well and the this helped me test the volume and playback features on this device. Very intuitive and worked flawlessly – no missed tapping or jabbing – all the button/switches worked perfect. This is an upscale headset. If you are looking for a professional headset for meetings or call center use (which I am very familiar with and experienced), this is a beautiful headset and I highly recommend it.

This Plantronics Voyager 4310 Bluetooth Headset replaces a Plantronics Blackwire 300 DA wired headset that was issued by my employer. While the wired headset was nice and functional, it restricted my movement to the length of the wire. If I forgot that I had the headset on, I'd walk away and the headset would get pulled off my head. Sometimes when the wire was hanging off my desk, my foot would catch the loop and pull the headset to the ground. I'm kind of surprised, I haven't wrecked it yet. The Plantronics Voyager 4310 is a Mono (it sits on one ear while the other side of the headband has a pad that helps to ensure the headset keeps to your head) headset that includes the headset itself, a carrying bag, a USB Bluetooth Adapter, a USB-C to USB-A cable and a USB-A to USB-C adapter. The earpiece houses all the controls including volume up/down and a Teams/General Purpose button to answer and disconnect calls, a power sliding switch that moves from Off to On and if you go past the On state, it allows you to trigger Bluetooth Discovery mode. The USB-C port allows you to charge the headset or allows use of the headset via USB cord. The microphone boom has a red colored button to control mute with audio prompts when the mute is on/off. One of the surprises, it reminds you it is on mute. I haven't fully determined the conditions, but when you're muted, it senses when you start talking again and reminds you it's on mute. The boom rotates on the earpiece about 270 degrees, so you can reposition the microphone and headset to accommodate wearing the headset on one ear or the other. The earpiece also has an LED ring that indicates call status, so others can see your call status. What's nice is that the USB Bluetooth adapter also has a LED light that provides the same indication. This is nice for me since I can't see the LED ring on my ear, but I can validate my mute status on the USB adapter (so long as the adapter is plugged into a USB port that is easily visible). While all my other headsets are stereo, I tend to listen to them in mono anyways since I like to keep one ear open to listen for any people that want to get my attention. With this Voyager 4310 headset, I don't have to worry about that anymore, but I do have to get used to setting the pad above my ear instead of trying to bring it down to my ear. I started testing on my work PC and it worked great. My work laptop picked up the Voyager 4310 via the USB Bluetooth adapter very easily. Working in Teams was seamless. I then connected via Bluetooth to my desktop PC. As I'm playing media on my desktop PC, if my work laptop receives a call, it chimes 3 times and switches back. I also connected it to my phone but it doesn't seem to chime as it switches between my desktop PC and my phone. I have also found that I need to pause the media for a few seconds on my intended device before playing again for the headset to determine which device to pull from. It's a little awkward, but I honestly don't think I'll typically have it connected to more than 1 device at a time. Sound quality is great. The audio is clear and the microphone seems to pick up what is needed. One of the features is an acoustic fence technology which cancels out noise beyond a few feet of the headset, which makes it perfect for working in an office environment. I ended up installing the Poly Lens application on my personal desktop in order to update the headset with the latest software since my work laptop is locked down against most software installations. One of my regrets for this headset is that I didn't get the charging stand. I see that it can be purchased separately, so I'll likely get that soon. I can see charging contacts under the earpad so that should be easier to use than connecting via USB-C. Aside from that, this Plantronics Voyager 4310 is a welcome solution to my troubles with a corded headset. I highly recommend this headset for anyone that needs to spend more than an hour a day on the phone. With its bluetooth connectivity, it works with any mobile phone or modern computer. It's a great investment in comfort and convenience.

I LOVE THIS HEADSET! I drive a alot for work and these headphones are amazing, i have tried blueparrot and they don't meet the comfortability as these. The tech on these are amazing as well. My wife works from home and she borrowed these for an important meeting and had me drive to the store to purchase her a pair. I think this is the most versatile headphones, either working on the go or work for home. I love the single ear version for home use b/c we have small children but the noise cancelation you can't hear the kids in the back ground.

I work from home, and until now was pretty much tethered to my desk for almost 8 hours a day. This headset has changed all of that nonsense for me. So first, it comes with a 4.5 to 5' charging cable, no stand included. It's a USB-C to USB-C but also has an adapter to change one end to USB. There's a wifi dongle that plugs into the computer that extends it's range to over 100' from the computer, (my Dell automatically recognized and updated my system for true plug and play). A user guide and a storage pouch. The voice tones are crystal clear on both ends. All the controls are on the earpiece; on/off, volume etc. a mute button is on the boom. They are intuitve, and easy to use. I had a teams meeting, didn't need to touch the teams button to be heard or to connect. It can be wirelessly conected to a device as well. Software needs to be downloaded from the app store, however since this isn't a perk I need, I haven't tried connecting that way. But I can surmise that it will work just as well that way too. I am so over the moon with this headset!

I bought this headset because I work from home with a toddler and a newborn and needed a headset that had noise cancelling abilities. This headset is the way to go for anyone who needs to ensure any noise around you is not heard and only your voice while on calls. Another plus is that the battery last a very long time and being wireless I don’t have to worry about any thing getting caught on the cable.

I had had a Plantronics Bluetooth ear piece that worked satisfactorily though the callers said my mic volume was too low even though it was set appropriately. It was thus when this headpiece was available, that I jumped at the chance to test and to review this. I am impressed. Pairing with the CISCO multi-line phone was fairly straightforward after having to search for the default pin code; once that was found, the overall experience was quite easy to pair and the ease of use on the phone is wonderful. I like being able to tap the ear cover area to answer the phone. Volume is good. The clarity is also impressive. The hardest thing to get used to is that the overall headpiece feels funny on my head - initially I thought it was going to fall off but after 10 minutes I don't even notice the headphone. This is a great hands free headpiece. Overall set up time was about 10 minutes and that includes me having to find the default pin code for the phone I aws going to use.

I've been working from home the past two and a half years and have began to invest in making my home office comfortable and efficient. As such I've used a few different headsets to try to make Teams meetings as seamless as possible. Until recently I've been using the JLab Go Work headset which I've been really happy with, so honestly something else would have to be outstanding to bowl me over. As comfort is concerned, these are a clear winner. They're an on-ear headset, with only one speaker and a large comfortable pad on the other side. The mic boom flips over so it can be worn on either side and the length is wasy to adjust. Clamping force is good enough that they don't slip off but is not uncomfortable. I wear glasses and have no problem with comfort. Sound quality is acceptable, no better or less than other headsets I've tried. Here the limiting factor is really Teams itself and the quality of other people's microphones. The best sounding headset in the world isn't going to make up for someone else's cheap mic. Setup was very simple on my work laptop. They're automatically paired to the included dongle, so just plug in an go. There is software you can download to tweak some settings like behavior in Teams and the oddly named "Anti-startle Protection" which just compresses the volume on sudden loud noises. There are also three sounds effects meant to minimize distractions (running water and ocean sounds) but the fidelity on the headsets is such that I find them kind of shrill. One setting also allows you to use the lights on the side to warn others that you're on a call. I was looking forward to this feature so if someone wanders into the room while I'm on a call they'll be aware and not disturb me, but so far I haven't seen the light come on while on a call. The light comes on briefly when I raise or lower the volume with the + and - buttons, but it's pretty faint. Not sure if I have an issue with mine or if I'm doing something wrong, but I have confirmed it's enabled in the software. In addition to the volume buttons there's a Teams button that opens teams at a touch or answers incoming calls. There's also a mute switch near the end of the boom opposite the mic that's handy if you need to cough or mute yourself quickly before you say something you're going to regret later. Charging is done through USB C. This unit does not come with a charging cradle, but it appears there are contacts for one to purchase separately. At the end of the day, this is a very capable and comfortable headset for home or office use, but there is nothing special to stand out for me above other models.

Although the headset is noise canceling sometimes the customer on my other end can't hear me. This is also happening to a colleague of mine. We will have to reboot our phones a couple of times and turn the device on and off for it to "calibrate" or something of the sort. Customer's don't really seem to hear me well in general either. It does do good at canceling out the background noise of my kiddos.
