After reading the reviews I bought this for her in October along with the changing case. She loved how comfortable it was with her wearing it 8 plus hours a day. After 6 months of use it completely stopped working.

The UC version is available but thought to be for computers without Bluetooth. The Hub software will only run with the USB dongle so getting the 5200 series to work is spotty at best. The integration with my iPhone is great and I literally can be standing next to a train and carry on a conversation. Listening can be difficult while what I say is clear on the other end.

For optimal performance and added features with supported softphones (including Skype for Business) we recommend that you use the headset with our BT600 adapter, which is included with our Voyager 5200 UC. Callers hear background sound unlike the Voyager and Legend models. Iphone 7+ drops connection and reconnects for no apparent reason. I regret I bought this. The extended range isn’t worth the lack of background sound elimination. On the plus side it will charge with a standard android charger and doesn’t require a proprietary charger which is nice. Still wouldn’t recommend.

Posted .Thank you for your honest review on our Voyager 5220, we are sorry to hear you're experiencing trouble with your unit. The extended range on the Voyager 5220 depends on the device your headset is connected to, when used with a class 2 Bluetooth device like a cellphone or tablet the expected range should be up to 33 feet, but when used with a class 1 Bluetooth streamer it should be up to 98 feet.
In order to troubleshoot connectivity or audio issues you might want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection between your phone and headset to see if that helps the issue. To do so: 1. Delete the headset from your cell phone's list of paired devices. 2. Once deleted, power your phone completely off, then power it back on. This resets the Bluetooth stack in the Bluetooth software on the phone. 3. Re-pair the headset with your phone. If this does not fix your issue, we suggest pairing the headset to another cell phone as a test. If the issue is not present on the second phone, then the problem may be with the first phone, rather than the headset. If the issue exists on the second phone as well, you will need to replace the headset.
