The BEST bluetooth ear piece for making calls!!
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having tried other bluetooth ear pieces, specifically for making and recieving phones, I have found these to be the ABSOLUTE BEST BY FAR. These have great talk time, are rechargeable, and allow you listen to music, audio books and recordings (like classes). I now own 2 of them. In the car or on the bicycle, they allow you to talk or listen without any background noise. They are very comfortable to wear...at times I forget I have it on!

Good Bluetooth Headset
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great for working from home. The sound is clear. The charge lasts for quite a while. It lets you answer with Alexa if you don’t have your phone next to you. It doesn’t seem to work with the charging case that I had and the flap covering the charging port broke, otherwise I’d give it five stars.

Best Ear Piece on the market!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The best there is out there. I hate the apple airpods I cant have ear buds stuck inside both of my ears all day long and they fall off from my ears. I have been using this 5220 for ears and the sound quality is amazing, its comfortable and just works. The noise cancelling is also great. I live and die by these. I own an IT company and these are the ear pieces I recommend to all my clients.

Great Sound, Lightweight, not perfect fit
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this to make phone calls while at home from cell phone. I use in-ear Jabra elite 65 for music. I just don’t like talking on the phone with them. The batter life and sound quality of this is great. The fit is a little loose. I know they can’t be everyone to all ear sizes and shapes. It’s not horrible by any stretch, but just not a snug fit.

Best bluetooth headset! Period.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had countless BT headsets since the devices were first launched years ago. From the various Motorola to the famous Jawbone and a myriad of no name junk. But this by far is the vest one I have used. If you don't mind the boom, which I actually prefer, since it provides better voice pick up and reduces unwanted noise and wind interference due to Plantronics clever design. I even use this device while riding a bike! The different ear pieces provide comfortable and non invasive ear contact so the rich HD sound can fill your ear and not the device. The curved wrap around design lightly grips the ear with confidence, but does [pose a problem for those who wear glasses. The boom rotates up and swivels to allow for use in either ear and to tuck away while not in use. And unlike some [revious models that are very similar on design, the 5200 series has a universal micro ISB port for charging, along with the connectors for charging on the expensive optional charging case/cradle; great for on the desk for easy access or tucked inside the case to protect while traveling. Firware update provide the allure of potential new features, but as of yet nothing but integration with Plantronics Manager Pro software. Included mute/digital assistant button provide voice feedback really makes this feel; like a next gen BT headset despite the only slightly modernized design. Its sleek and curvy enough to wear without feeling like a total; tool.

Same as the old model
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To be honest. This headset is pretty much as the latest one, there's soft changes that help. Charger is great, no room for unintentional damage cause is Usb Both sides, no more magnetic and pins... Sometimes I fell that voice command just fast and clear. Final thoughts: if you had old model at job, I wouldn't recommend to change otherwise great quality and life battery and clear sound... Nothing louder but good.

Awesome Headset - Great clarity and Sound
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this device for several years now and it works fantastic. Noise cancellation works great and the features and options on this headset are very good. I highly recommend the carrying charging case for this unit since it will keep the headset in really good shape and keep the unit topped off on battery charge. I've had to work with Poly Support over the years on questions and they have always been top notch. They take care of their customers.

good compared to voyager pro
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I lost my voyager pro and replaced it with this one. The primary reason was the increased range. That feature is the best feature of the device. It is a little more comfortable and stays in my ear better than the Voyager Pro did. I haven't had difficult with people understanding me on the phone, but haven't used the headset much outside. The only complaint I have is accessing the voice controls. To activate the voice control, you push the mute button instead of the call answer button. This isn't a big deal, but it takes a few seconds to go through its process and activate Siri on the iPhone (approximately 3-4 seconds), when I'm trying to text using the tool, I find that this time lapse can be cumbersome because other texts will come in while I'm trying to activate and initiate mine. The other complaint regarding the voice controls is that is a different button to initiate the call than it is to end the call. I find that I'm always hitting the wrong button to end the call. At least, it mutes me when I press the voice control button so that if I say something before I successfully hang up, it can't be heard.

Good balance of aesthetics and utility
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First off, don't buy this product under the assumption the price is "a lot of money" or any other belief which undermines the target price to performance ratio. This is a good product for the price and as a ride share driver the key functionality is the noise cancellation (limiter) feature where the microphone does not pickup background noise or wind noise. The voice quality on the receiving end is crystal clear and what you hear could use some improvement but it is good enough. The one star I marked off was for comfort. This unit can fit on many different ears and is packaged with 3 different swappable ear bud pieces that twist off. However the problem is the top portion will normally feel very uncomfortable over the top of your ear as it digs into you over time. It is secure so that is not an issue but I feel this product is not a one size fits all. While I can swap it to one ear or the other ever few hours as the pain takes hours to truly develop for me I feel that in 2017 we should be able to have something a bit more comfortable even at this price point. Due to the performance being more reliable than other brands I tried out though, I had to objectify utility over comfort as my job depends on it. Not once over a month have I missed a call or had any issues with syncing. Solid 4 out of 5 as it could definitely be improved upon but again, for the price you won't find much better out there.

Crystal clear communication-on BOTH sides
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used nearly a dozen different Bluetooth Headsets, and this is by far one of the best, and not surprisingly from Plantronics (an older model is my second favorite). I like using a device that you can answer the phone or decline the call by voice. I like the battery life. Despite its larger size, it is still comfortable. But MOST importantly, I can hear the person I called, and they can hear me. Excellent back ground noise cancellation. Crystal clear audio. You cannot go wrong with this headset.

Easy to learn to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed to find a hands free device that was comfortable, not bulky, has good sound and could hear well while using it..... this item was just what I was hoping for! It is comfortable to wear, not bulky and pretty easy to figure out. It has good clarity on talking and hearing. I hope it continues to work as well as it has been since day one.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this earpiece for the last 4 to 5 years I have tried several other Types but this has been the best one I have only upgraded when they come out with a newer model it is very comfortable and you can where all day it is very clear and even in windy conditions and on my motorcycle I can still hear and they hear me I just got a new one in November but that was just to upgrade you can’t go wrong with this Earpiece

Nice headset overall.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Clear calls. I use this for five to 10 hours most days and occasionally it will stop transmitting my voice to the caller. A quick reboot fixes it, but it's inconvenient. This is not common but it has happened two or three times over the last two weeks. Overall the headset is very good at filtering out background noise. When I'm driving it's better than the factory Yukon mic, and quiet in loud areas like near trucks and in a hardware store. If you work in a busy office with other voices they will be audible to some extent but minimal compared to the standard microphone on a cell phone. As far as filtering out surrounding noises this is substantially better than many other types of headphones I have used. X1 powered headphones have better Bluetooth range, but they but just don't filter enough background noise for the caller on the other end. Other than the very minor connection issue the battery life could be a bit better. 7 hours just isn't quite enough for a long day on the phone. I find myself recharging this headset in the middle of the day to ensure no disruption. With an extra hour of battery life this would probably be a 5-star review. The average person making a few dozen calls a day will find this headset very functional, and probably the best headset of this type I've used.

Hands down best BT Headset
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had over twenty BT headsets over the years and they all have improved over the years. But this headphone makes me sound like I am in my office regardless of wind, noise, airport loudspeakers, etc. I travel a lot so having that kind of clarity is key for my conversations. Add in that the batter last for hours. It is a good buy. Note I don't wear mine like jewelry, I turn it off between calls and shove it in my pocket, so it connects fast when I get a call. I like that a lot too.

It's not made for truckers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's to small so I lose it easily but then again I do that with everything, the volume never gets loud enough and when your a truck driver you need your headset to perform in loud situations, the battery life on this sucks, you only get 6 to 7 hours talk time and I'm on the phone unfortunately from sun up till sun down on most days, I did enjoy it telling me whose calling and giving me the option of accepting or denying the call. Ultimately you just can't beat a blue parrot and for 150 dollars I bought the 450 blue parrot which gives me all the same features but at a way better quality for what I use it for, but if you just need it for car rides or use it around the house then it's a great product but of your a truck driver and spend most days on the phone talking with your kids, wife, dispatche or other annoying ppl you want a blue parrot not this platronics.

Great Bluetooth!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Plantronics 5220 Bluetooth Headset has the clearest sound in a bluetooth headset. It is extremely easy to use and set up. It is the most comfortable bluetooth that I have ever owned. At times, you don't even realize that you're wearing it. You can easily adjust it to use in either ear. Also, the Best Buy staff was the best, no pun intended, to work with in helping me select the right headset for my needs.
