Its a good headset!

However, I wish they made the Plantronics - Voyager 5220 Bluetooth Headset slender around the ear. This would allow it to stay on your ear much better.

Loved the PREVIOUS VERSION of this earpiece...

The replacement that I bought looks and feels mostly the same, but the reception is about 50% quality. I can hear other people fine, but I have heard from multiple people they can't understand me on the new version. They say I sound "tinny" and like it is really bad reception. I will be returning and replacing with another, hoping it is just an isolated problem, but if it happens with the replacement, I will be brand switching.

Perfect for background environment cancelling

I work from home and am on the phone all day. Not wanting the person on my other line to hear that I’m watching the bachelorette and it works very well. tested and it’s soo worth it.

Definitely an upgrade

Syncs well with phone and car. Range is farther than the Voyager Pro. Very handy that media will play through this headset (games and music) so all is private.

There are times when the headset will not connect to my phone. The earpiece will say it’s connected but no can be heard on the earpiece or phone.

I didn't read any reviews prior to purchasing this Bluetooth I just hope it last longer than the last two I. Ought from another company.

If you are experiencing some audio issues with the headset, you may want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection with your mobile. To do so: 1) Unpair the headset from your mobile phone by accessing your Bluetooth settings. 2) Power off your mobile phone for 2 minutes and turn it back on. 3) Re-pair the headset by pressing and holding down the call control button until you see the LED flashing red and blue. 4) Access to your Bluetooth settings and select "PLT_V5200". Once successfully paired, you will hear "pairing successful" and the LED on your headset will stop flashing red and blue. You may also want to check if your headset doesn't have any updates available through Plantronics Hub: https://www.plantronics.com/us/en/support/downloads-apps/hub-desktop. Last but not least, we recommend testing the headset with a different mobile to completely isolate the issue. If for some reason you still encounter the same issue, then it means the headset has an actual problem and it is best to replace it. Great earpiece for the active

Have had it for almost 2 years and aside from the occasional connectivity issues (most likely wireless carrier issues) it has been great.

Decent Sound Poor Reception

Has excellent background noise cancelling (i.e. wind noise, road noise in cars, etc). Biggest downside is the reception from the headset to phone. If I walk with the phone in my pants pocket the headset loses connection and becomes garbled. I have used many other Bluetooth headsets including headphones, plantronic, Jabra, etc and none of the others have this problem. If you want to be able to walk and talk (with phone in your pocket) it might not work well for you.

THE BEST BLUETOOTH HEADSET TO PURCHASE

nice upgrade from the legend

This happens to be the third 5200 that I purchased as the first two had some defective issues. Third time was the charm and thus far has been great.

So far, so good. I wish it came with the magnetic charger like the old ones did. It's kind of a pain to connect the micro USB each time I want to boost the charge.

Decent Headset

I have only used a couple of times to date, but so far it has worked fairly well. I have paired it to a couple of phones I use (office and cell). Not sure if voice quality is as good as a savi 745 that I had previously, but will know after a few more uses.

This is a sleek, clear Bluetooth and all my friends have commented on the clarity, as if I am calling from my mobile directly or landline. It fits well, and I am enjoying it. This is the first time I could pair it to my mobile without going to a mobile phone store for help
