5220 isn’t as good as the Legend

My Legend didn’t do that. Other than that the on ear sensor doesn’t work well either. Get a Legend and save the money. That said still better than most other brands.

One thing you can try is resetting the connection between the headset and your smart phone. To do this, please follow these steps: 1. Delete the headset from your cell phone's list of paired devices. 2. Once deleted, power your phone completely off, then power it back on. This resets the Bluetooth stack in the Bluetooth software on the phone. 3. Re-pair the headset with your phone.
