And replaced with one that was dropping or causing intermittent connectivity issues with the Bluetooth on my cell phone. At first, I thought it was an issue with my cell phone. Yet, I am seeing consistent issues where people are having trouble hearing me on meetings, using my work cell also. I will likely be replacing this unit, with a different brand all together. I have really liked this headset in the past, and not sure if/what has changed with hardware/software/firmware, but doesn't work well, for the price.

Posted .Hello, we are sorry to hear about your experience with the Voyager 5220 headset, please try the following: 1) Completely unpair from your phone. 2) Power off and on both devices. 3) Press and hold the call button until the LED flashes red/blue on your headset. 4) Reconnect. 5) Press and hold the call + mute buttons until you hear "smart sensors off". 6) Test. We also recommend to download the Plantronics Hub on your computer, from our official website, connect the headset using a USB cable, click on Notifications > Search for updates, and test. If the issue continues, there might be an actual fault with the headset, in which case a replacement will be necessary. The Voyager 5220 comes with a 1 year Limited Warranty, if you continue to experience difficulties, please don't hesitate to contact Plantronics Customer Care at 855-765-7878.

Used to be Great - No Longer - Now Quality is Poor

I've had this one for less than a month. The one purchased in February lasted four months. The second one purchased in June lasted less than one month. The post where it swivels broke on each one. The wires are exposed and the earpiece is hanging. The quality has gone downhill. Best Buy has stopped offering insurance on them, plus they only allow returns for 15 days. The store should stand behind the products it sells for at least 30 days. If something falls apart in less than a month, then it should be able to be exchanged. If Best Buy can't stand behind their products for a minimum of 30 days, then they shouldn't sell them. Time for a change.

The Voyager 5220 to some extent is resistant to stretching, but we do not recommend stretching the hook too much to avoid any kind of harm. When you remove the earpiece, we recommend that you slightly stretch it and also slide it over your ear to take it off. We thank you for bringing this to our attention.
