Posted .Hello and thank you for your review on our Voyager 5220 headset, however, we are sorry to hear about your experience. If you are experiencing some issues with the microphone, you may want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection with your mobile. To do so: 1) Unpair the headset from your mobile phone by accessing your Bluetooth settings. 2) Power off your mobile phone for 2 minutes and turn it back on. 3) Re-pair the headset by pressing and holding down the call control button until you see the LED flashing red and blue. 4) Access to your Bluetooth settings and select "PLT_V5200". Once successfully paired, you will hear "pairing successful" and the LED on your headset will stop flashing red and blue. You may also want to check if it doesn't have any updates available through Plantronics Hub: https://bit.ly/2NNfqpE. Last but not least, we recommend testing the headset with a different mobile to isolate the issue. If for some reason you still encounter the same issue, then it means the headset has an actual problem and it is best to replace it. Remember this unit counts with a limited warranty since the first day of purchase, and if you need a replacement you can click on the following link for further instructions: https://bit.ly/2N637EC. Our intention is to provide the highest quality products to our customers and we thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Too much money for a weak performer
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very low volume, disconnects from my smart phone while I am in a call, hardly six hours battery time. $119 is too much money spent for this kind of performance . A $30 worth blue tooth I had before was performing better then this, very disappointing .

Not impressed with this Bluetooth Earpiece.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was severely disappointed with this headset. It was big and bulky. When trying this out, the person on the other line said I sounded like I was in a tunnel. Additionally, the bluetooth kept disconnecting and reconnecting even though my phone was sitting on the seat beside me while I was driving in my car. I returned this after a couple of weeks for a different ear piece.

Best Bluetooth headset available
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow! I have owned many Bluetooth headset over the years: Bose, Jabra, Jawbone, and Plantronics, along with other lesser known brands. The Plantronics Voyager 5220 is the best hands down. I always test out a new headset the same way...pair it with my cellphone, then hit the road...head down the highway at 70+ mph, use voice dialing to see if it can recognize commands properly and call my office line. This takes me into voicemail and I leave myself a message with the vehicle radio going at normal volume. Then, my voicemail gets sent as an mp3 to my phone. This way, once I've stopped the vehicle, I can listen to what it sounds like on the other end of a call. With the 5220, the voicemail was perfect...no road noise...no background radio...nothing but my voice coming through crystal clear. With 4 microphones, the 5220 detects which direction sounds are coming from and successfully eliminates sound other than your voice. Having owned the original Plantronics 570, as well as the Voyager Pro, the Voyager Legend, the Voyage Edge, I can say with certainty that this is the best BT handset I've ever used. The noise suppression is better than on any Jawbone or other Plantronics headset. Pros: great battery life; well placed up and down volume buttons, great voice command support. mini-usb charging (a big plus over the proprietary charging port on the Legend); comfortable wearing all day long, etc. Cons: large size may not be great for everybody; over ear design is great in upright position, but if you're a mechanic working under a vehicle, this won't stay on...I did have another "wing-type ear gel which I managed to fit over the smallest stock ear gel and that fixed that problem for me though. Recommendation: If you're looking for the best BT headset and are willing to pay the premium price, This is the headset and you won't be disappointed.

Returned; didn't measure up...
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Returned them, as the Voyager 5200 is a better product, but after all the years of use, was time to buy/get something new. Happy with the AfterShokz Opencomm. Sound quality not as good as the 5200's. Receiving party noticed the difference between the 3 newer bluetooth earpieces I tried )Plantronics - Explorer 505, & 5220

In order to get the most secure and comfortable fit please be sure to try all of the included in-ear gel eartips, while wearing the headset you should feel a secure fit that is not too loose nor too tight.
