      Hi Kram and thank you for your honest review on our Voyager Legend. To be able to pair your earpiece with a mobile phone, please be sure it is set to pair mode. To do so, power on the Voyager Legend, then press and hold the call button for 6-8 seconds until the LED indicator light flashes red and blue repeatedly. Then go to Bluetooth settings on your phone and the PLT_Legend should be listed as an available device. Select to pair. We hope you will find this information useful.     Works well with some laptops but now with Dell. If your using this in an office setting with a computer, get the UC model

    I purchased this because my old one wasn't working well. The new one doesn't work any better than the old one. So I am disappointed in this purchase.

    This is the first time I've had an issue with my bluetooth staying connected with my phone. It will drop the call or tell me no phone is found (when the phone is in my pocket).

      Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on our Voyager Legend; though we're sorry to hear you've had technical issues. There are a couple of procedures you could try that should fix these issues. First, reset the Network settings on your phone. Then reset the BT connection between your cell phone and the earpiece. To do so: https://bit.ly/2OOMfnw. Remember to set the earpiece in pair mode to re-pair. If dropping the call and you've noticed it is sent back to your phone, this might be related to the smart sensors. These detect the pressure from your ear when wearing the earpiece, yet there can be several conditions triggering them like having the earpiece a bit loose from your ear, or wearing glasses. To isolate the cause of the issue, disable the master sensor through our Hub software for Desktop: https://bit.ly/30jDXJM under settings>sensors>master sensor. If the issue stops, please note that over time, sensors need to be calibrated https://bit.ly/312k9LC. This model comes with a one-year limited warranty.     It was made for right ear! I needed it to be for left ear was not comfortable in my left ear.

The Voyager Legend was designed for both ears and to wear it on the left ear, you can rotate the mic boom upwards and twist it around so the ear tip is on the other side.     I returned this immediately to purchase it's bigger brother for a few dollars more...which I found to be on sale...neither are that great...too much static in the background.

If you are experiencing some audio issues, you may want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection with your mobile. To do so: 1) Unpair the headset from your mobile phone by accessing your Bluetooth settings. 2) Power off your mobile phone for 2 minutes and turn it back on. 3) Re-pair the headset by pressing and holding down the call control button until you see the LED flashing red and blue. 4) Access to your Bluetooth settings and select "PLT_Legend". Once successfully paired, you will hear "pairing successful" and the LED on your headset will stop flashing red and blue. You may also want to check if the headset doesn't have any updates available through Plantronics Hub: https://bit.ly/2NNfqpE. Last but not least, we always recommend testing the headset with a different mobile to completely isolate the issue. If for some reason you still encounter the same issue, then it means it has an actual problem and it is best to replace it.     This Plantronics Voyager Legend Bluetooth Headset is a step-up from their previous model, which I didn’t much like. It’s not quite as “weighty” or “bulky” as before, and the look of the headset, seems to be on par with other headsets on the market today. I do want to point out, that if you wear eyeglasses as I do, unfortunately, the ‘arm’ of the headset which goes over the top of your ear, doesn’t feel as comfortable as it could where it rests there, and just doesn’t sit right. However, most other people should be fine wearing this headset, without having to be concerned that it won’t stay put or fall off their ear, that is with normal activity. Pairing with my phone was super easy and fast. Not a problem at all. The headset’s controls are easily accessible - with a simple touch you can change volume, mute calls and activate the voice-assist feature. So far, I’ve not had to worry about the headset losing connection to my phone, which has happened with other headsets/earbuds I’ve used. Hopefully, that will continue to be true as time goes on. Noise cancellation can be good or bad, depending on the headset. I’ve experienced both aspects of this with previous makes and models. Sometimes a headset will do a good job of filtering out distracting background noises, but does so with a fair amount of connection lag or ‘stuttering’ of sound. With this Plantronics Voyager Legend Bluetooth Headset, call quality was excellent - I was able to hear the person I was talking to, clearly and without even a hint of distortion; and based on what I was told, the same could be said from their end. Recharging to full battery life after nearly being depleted, took a reasonable amount of time; quick enough for my needs. There is an additional charging case accessory you can buy, which also acts as a protective carrying pod for the headset. If you plan on using this headset on-the-go, while commuting, or traveling - I’d recommend investing in one. Overall, this is a decent headset for the price.

To use headset voice dialing features press the call button (located behind the mic boom) for 2 seconds and wait for the phone prompt. If this does not work make sure to grant phone book access when the earpiece is paired and that the phone's voice assistant allows Bluetooth requests while locked, which usually resolves issues like these.     Awesome little headset!!!

    I usually don’t write reviews, however this Plantronics Voyager Legend deserves a review. My wife works from home and her company upgraded their phone system so she needed to upgrade her headset. I tried another popular Bluetooth headset that is very popular among truck drivers, but the audio over VoIP was just awful!!!. So i did some more research and read more reviews before purchasing the Plantronics. Connection was very simple. Set up was fast and easy. We did a test call over the internet and all i can say is WOW!!! As soon as i hear the clarity of this headset i was instantly impressed! I mean wow! It’s so clear. Great job Plantronics! This headset is worth more money than they charge. Love the lite weight design. It can connect to 2 BT devices at the same time. My wife can answer her cell phone or the phone line on her PC without disconnecting Bluetooth.
