    I was honestly concerned with how long I could wear this headset and whether or not it would cause discomfort. It's a bit of an odd shape, but turns out it's both incredibly comfortable to use and picks up quite well. I was able to hear my audio and found my own voice to be clear - even speaking at a normal level near a loud noise. I tested the noise reduction by standing right next to a portable AC going full blast. When I listened back to the recording it was as if the AC wasn't even there. Outstanding! My own criticism is that the charging cable has a proprietary connection. If you lose it, you'll need to buy another one before you can charge again. The good news is that the little charging cable is also magnetic. It just grabs the headset into place, which saves you from getting misaligned connections.

    Was great, now its junk. Constantly drops blue tooth connection. Voice is muffled as I speak. Static connections $80 piece of junk

The Voyager Legend is one of our best communication headsets and specially engineered to deliver superior call clarity. There are a few things you could try that should easily fix the issues you've mentioned. Firstly, please ensure the unit's firmware version is up to date through our Hub Software https://bit.ly/30jDXJM. Connection issues might be related to the smart sensors. These detect the pressure from your ear when wearing the earpiece; yet, there can be several conditions triggering them like having the earpiece a bit loose from your ear, or wearing glasses. To isolate the cause of the issue, disable the master sensor through Hub>Open special settings>Master sensor. Lastly, testing the earpiece with a different phone and while it is paired to a single Bluetooth device is ideal to determine the cause of the issue.     Stopped working after 2 weeks. I was happy about the answering call feature. Ear piece would hurt after an hour of wearing.

    I could hear great but the people on the receiving end heard nothing but static. I returned item and purchased another brand.

    This headset is a bit large, but with that larger size comes much better sound than a couple of smaller earbud sets I have. The sound remains somewhat tinny, but it has more depth than smaller units. The headset is very comfortable and does not feel heavy or otherwise annoying. Finding the controls to work volume and answering calls takes some practice, but are they are very accessible. The mic seems to be top-notch. I tested it in windy conditions, and callers were able to hear me with no trouble. It did pick up some background noise at a loud conference, but my voice was still clear and intelligible to the other caller. This headset is not as portable as some others, so I bought the optional charging case. This helps a lot, but it still is not a headset you will routinely keep in your pocket. I use this one for longer calls, and still rely on my little Jabras for quick calls, since those are easy to take along everywhere. High quality headset with excellent sound an microphone/noise cancelling capabilities.

    Tl;dr This comfortable, compact, feature filled headset sounds decent, but may not last. The Plantronics Voyager Legend is the latest in a long line of small, high-quality headsets. Features abound in this compact, comfortable conversation piece. It senses when you are wearing it and so knows to route calls through your phone not the headset even if you forgot to turn it off. It pairs quickly to your phone and PC. you can connect with two devices simultaneously, the headset will switch back and forth smartly depending upon which device is engaged. It also accepts voice commands and announces order information. Sound quality is decent, though there are headsets with better noise canceling such as the Sennheiser SB 2. An outside on the street, callers could tell where I was, but not hear other conversations. By comparison, the Sennheiser masks all external sounds. My voice was clear to others and I was easily understood without having to shout. I was disappointed that the Voyager Legend does not have a built in micro USB charger port. It comes with a short dongle that magnetically attaches to the headset for charging. Given the plethora of cables I have at my house, I can see this easily getting lost. I also can’t ignore the experience I had with my previous Plantronics Voyager series headset. I’ve had it 15 months and my voice now regularly drops out when talking to callers. It’s become unusable. With only a one-year warranty, the company suggested I purchase a replacement at full retail. Fortunately for me, I was provided this is set as part of Best Buy's early review program. Given its predecessors reliability, I’d have chosen a different brand as a replacement.

    Died after less than a month. Will not charge. Trying to find a way to replace the battery with no luck. Major waste of $80.

To troubleshoot your unit, make sure there isn't any physical damage on the charging pins from the cable and the earpiece. You might also want to remove any dirt with a cotton swap that might be preventing the unit from charging. Also, ensure the unit's firmware version is up to date through our Hub Software for Desktop. Connect the earpiece powered-off through the charging cable and go to the notifications tab. If you still get the same results, then the earpiece has an actual problem related to hardware and it is best to replace it. If you are experiencing connectivity connectivity issues, we recommend resetting the headset by pressing and holding the call control and mute buttons for 5 seconds while it's turned off, this will reset the headset. If your headset is not charging correctly, you can try another charging cable, another charger, or another wall outlet if possible to isolate the problem. If you are experiencing some connectivity issues with the headset, it could be due to the smart sensors. If they are not calibrated, you could encounter these type of issues. You may want to try disabling the smart sensors through Plantronics Hub: https://bit.ly/2NNfqpE. You may also want to reset the Bluetooth connection with your mobile. To do so: 1) Unpair the headset from your mobile phone by accessing your Bluetooth settings. 2) Power off your mobile phone for 2 minutes and turn it back on. 3) Re-pair the headset by pressing and holding down the call control button until you see the LED flashing red and blue. 4) Access to your Bluetooth settings and select "PLT_Legend". Once successfully paired, you will hear "pairing successful" and the LED on your headset will stop flashing red and blue. Last but not least we recommend testing the headset with a different mobile to completely isolate the issue. If for some reason you still encounter the same issue, then it means the headset has an actual problem and it is best to replace it.
