    I had an earlier version of this model. I was forced to update my app on my phone today and now the headset will not pair and work with the headset. It worked fine when it connected. It also seemed a little small to fit around and into my ear.

      Hi Roy! Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear you've had trouble with your Voyager Legend. This should be easily solved by setting the earpiece in pair mode. To do so: Power on the earpiece, then press and hold the call button located on the very back of the microphone boom. Press and hold for 6-8 seconds or until LED flashes red and blue repeately. This means the earpiece is in pair mode. Go to Bluetooth settings on your phone and you should see the PLT_Legend listed as available. Select to pair.     I was excited to get this Voyager Legend as a long overdue replacement for my 8-year-old Voyager PRO. The battery on the Pro degraded over the last couple years to the point it is no longer useable. I was looking forward to using the Voyager Legend on a trip this week, so I purchased the charging case accessory. I wish I would have saved my money because the Voyager Legend is a major disappointment. The audio quality of the Legend is horrible, not for the user, but for the person on the other end of the call. There is a terrible high-pitched squealing feedback noise that happens when the other person talks. It doesn’t make the noise when you talk to them, only when they talk to you. The headset mic picks up their voice from the headset speaker creating feedback. Whenever the other party talks it makes this noise that they hear on their end of the call. I can turn the headset volume all the way down and the noise also decreases. The higher the headset volume the worse the noise. Everyone I have talked to has complained about this noise. I considered it could be an issue with my Android phone while paired with the Legend so I paired it with my son’s iPhone. He used the Legend to call my phone and now I could hear the noise everyone was complaining about. I couldn’t believe how bad it sounds, distracting and annoying. I called several people using his iPhone and the noise was the same as when I called using my Android phone. There is no way I want to subject people to that noise. I must have a defective unit. I can’t believe they all sound this way. I loved my old Voyager Pro and we have a Plantronics RIG 800HD gaming headset. I’ve also used Plantronics headsets at one of my previous jobs. They don’t make junk, so this is disappointing. When I am back home from my trip, I will contact Plantronics to see about a warranty replacement/repair. This particular specimen is unusable as-is. I’ve read reviews on the Voyager Legend but didn’t like the proprietary magnetic charging connection and would prefer a plain old micro-USB port. So far, I don’t mind the magnetic connection on the Legend but there have been a couple times it didn’t seem to begin charging until I unhooked and seated the magnetic connection a couple times. My old leather case for the PRO/PRO+ fits the Legend perfectly although I’ll mostly use the new charging case. Even the extra PRO ear tips I have on hand fit the Legend. Nice of Plantronics to make them universal. My recommendation and one star is for this unit in my possession and would be 5 stars without the feedback issue. I like the features of the Legend but unless I can get a replacement that doesn’t create feedback noise for the other party, this headset will collect dust.

If you are having some audio issues with the headset you may want to try resetting the Bluetooth connection with your mobile. To do so: 1) Unpair the headset from your mobile phone by accessing your Bluetooth settings. 2) Power off your mobile phone for 2 minutes and turn it back on. 3) Re-pair the headset by pressing and holding down the call control button until you see the LED flashing red and blue. 4) Access to your Bluetooth settings and select "PLT_Legend". Once successfully paired, you will hear "pairing successful" and the LED on your headset will stop flashing red and blue. You may also want to check if your headset doesn't have any updates available through Plantronics Hub: https://bit.ly/2NNfqpE. If for some reason you still have the same issue, then it means the headset has an actual problem and it is best to replace it.     Does not work in Stereo in Windows (Zoom or Teams)

    FYI: This headset does not work in stereo mode in Windows 10/11. Nor does it work in stereo within applications such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams. The device reverts to mono when you try to force Windows to go stereo. The sound quality in mono is terrible.

      Hi, as this is a single earpice, its audio reproduction is on a single channel, therefore it is monoaural. For stereo audio we recommend the Voyager Focus series instead. plantronics

    Do not buy this headset! I received this headset as a gift and have had nothing but problems since. I work from home talking to clients all day and at first it was so difficult to connect to my pc. First I couldn’t hear clients at all, then clients couldn’t hear me. Fast forward I finally got it to work and all clients tell me all day long is that I’m breaking up and it sounds like I’m talking under water! This headset has lost me deals and money so I am returning ASAP!

Please note this model is intended for any cell phone or tablet that supports Bluetooth headsets. As you may know, most computers nowadays are equipped with native Bluetooth; yet, it is crucial to point out that Bluetooth Technology works through different profiles and these are the ones the earpiece requires to at least allow a connection: Headset/Hands-Free Profile HSP and HFP,(A2DP), AVRCP and AAC. To isolate the cause of the issue we strongly suggest you to test the earpiece with your cell phone and verify if you experience the same issue. In case it works correctly, you could try to troubleshoot your computer and upgrade/downgrade the Bluetooth drivers. If you still get the same results while using the earpiece with your computer, then we recommend you to get the Voyager Legend UC version, as it is designed to ensure PC connectivity.     Charging is terrible

    I purchased this thinking it was the same one that I had before. This one charges with a cable that is magnetically connected to the headset. It doesn't charge everytime I turn it on it says that it is low battery. My other plantronics connects through a cable that you plug in. never had any issues with it.

    Horrible sound distortion.

    I don't understand all the positive reviews. I bought this as an upgrade to a $40 headset I bought on Amazon. It was anything but. The sound quality is terrible. My wife called me. It sounded like she was in another state. I didn't recognize the voice. The sound distortion is terrible and very tinny. I am returning this.

To troubleshoot audio issues, please reset the BT connection between your cell phone and the earpiece. To do so: https://bit.ly/2OOMfnw.     Driver Disappointed

    Should have given 0 stars. Must be a refurbished piece. One week of use , picked up with damp hand and it ceased to function. Wore my old one in a couple of down pours and it never shorted out. Trying to return or exchange once I get in off of the road.
