Good voice quality but not great distance

Thought i was buying the same thing. Well, i found out i wasn't rather fast. Voice quality was fine and certainly acceptable. However, the bluetooth distance was quite a bit less. Since I use this unit for connecting to both my Samsung S8 and my Cisco IP Phone, I liked to be able to roam 30ft from my device. I establish a call and walk around my house while conducting business calls. This unit drops calls at about 20ft from the connected device, consistently. I still have one of the PTZ devices and that one still carries at least an extra 10-15 ft of distance. This is a great unit for someone that will have the connected device close to them at all times.

I liked it so well I purchased another one after I killed my other one in a recent flood. It is water resistant but not to the point of wearing it through a 7" rain storm while working. I tried cleaning it up like I found on the internet but by the time I got to it the damage was done. I will be more careful with this one in the future.
