Voice Quality Issues

The last three purchased have had voice quality issues even when connected to a cell phone, where users receiving my call report 'my voice fades to such a low volume they cannot hear me'. Other bluetooth headsets connected to my phone do not have this issue. Performance is not equivalent to earlier years of same model (2018 ~ 2020). Did HP switch to cheaper components after purchasing Plantronics/Polycom? Unfortunately the newer Voyager 5220 doesn't fit me as well as the Voyager Legend does. I have difficulty wearing over-ear headsets with my glasses, which is why I've continued purchasing the Legend, hoping HP eventually resolves the issue.

Great sound and quality!
